- Join me in a guide to the other side of Cala d’Or Mallorca over to Cala Esmeralda to Cala Ferrera, Mallorca (Majorca).
In my previous videos, I normally cover the area around Cala d'Or centre and Cala Petita.
However in this video, we will explore the other side of Cala d’Or, Mallorca, leaving Cala Gran behind us, we will head down the newly renovated Carrer de s’Espalmador before taking a right onto Carrer Caló des Coral by the Florida restaurant to Cala Esmeralda.
On Cala Esmeralda, we'll see the reappearance of one of Cala Esmeralda’s most beach famous characters - The Fruit selling man, and we’ll check out the beach club too.
Heading back onto Carrer de s’Espalmador we head right towards Cala Ferrera and check out how busy that is for the Summer.

Looks amazing. We are traveling to Mallorca or Menorca in August (cala n'bosch in menorca we have been before) but from Sweden there are only direct flights to mallorca if you go regularly so we have started looking and of all the places Cala d'or is the one that attracts everyone mostly for the beautiful bays and fantastic surroundings. A bit worried that there will be too many people or run out of hotels. We're going to book this week and right now it's leaning towards Cala d'or!♡
If you can’t get accommodation then I can assure you the rest of the island is amazing ! I have plenty of videos for you to get a preview. Bear in mind the Calas in Cala dor will be extremely busy! I have a video about the pros and cons of Cala dor !

Hiya do you know if the little train is running this year around cala d'or - cala egos etc , I used to work in cala d'or many moons ago doing timeshare back in the 90s absolutely loved the place going back over on the 15th June can't wait to see the place again and also how much is the little train , can you buy an all day ticket ?

I haven't been inside, but the location is lovely, and a nice walk to 3 beaches. I will get up there for a walk soon!

We stayed here last year at the apartments facing that texmex place. Really lovely but not great for vegetarian food
We returned home yesterday. I did that walk a couple of times during our stay i.e. from Gavimar Chico up to Azul/Esmeralda. It looks to be better value for food around there, there are a couple very reasonable of "all you can eat" tapas options which may be a good option for some as tbh Cala D'or centre is expensive - in saying that, we didnt have a single bad meal so its not a complaint just a fyi.
Also i saw €3 per scoop in a few ice cream places (sweet factory in CD centre was cheaper iirc) but when an icecream mars bar is €3.25, i dont think thats a bad value scoop of "homemade" goodness.
