That’s interesting place to visit looks fabulous, your Van is ideal great Video 👍
Great video
Thank you Crazy 👌
It looks like there's a Longmynd Motor Club, and a few other random things I found on car and dirt bike stuff there. But it definitely seems a little odd to have stuff like that happening at 1:00 in the morning 🤷♂️
Exactly!! Not going to lie, was a little worried, especially having the kids in the van. Although it was all good in the end!
There is also a Long Mynd gliding club who go off from there. I'll go back in the summer and see if I can get some on video
Freedom is essential 💪
Absolutely, I haven't got an issue with the drivers being there doing it. .. just not at 1am 😭
Wild camping/parking over night is great and I do it all the time, a couple of things I do for security is I never have external window or screen covers on just incase I need to get away in a hurry for whatever reason plus I park in such a way so its easy to drive off....never needed too yet so its just a precaution thats all, that guy at the top could be doing some kind of Ham Radio chat..
Good ideas those are. Talking of needing to get away in a hurry (it never happened but could have gone the other way) be sure to check out my latest video if you like overnighters in dodgy car parks!!
@@RobOutdoor Ye I watched the dogging one yesterday
That guy at the top did tell me what he was doing but due to the wind noise etc I didn't quite hear him and he was in a rush so I didn't want to bother him too much. But what I did hear is he was climbing 4 peaks and setting up at all 4 on that day and I'm sure he said it was a race?
Lol appreciate it 🙏. Do you prefer the van camp videos or the wild camping/hammock videos?
@@RobOutdoor Oh I like all van stuff incl fixing van related stuff too..
I would have thought if it was any sort of official/legit practice or even an event the route should have been closed to public traffic. Encountered official events in Wales and it was really well broadcast and closed to the public.
Yeah I agree, so strange though isn't it. The road where they were travelling is horrendous with pot holes and as you saw wild animals roaming so if agree. Pretty unusual that's for sure!
New subscriber 👍
Absolutely legend. Receiptated too 👌I'll watch some of your videos a little later
Lucky you went up in the dark, National Trust does not like camping
You are right they don't, however I've spent many nights up here car camping, tent camping and van camping and never had an issue. It's a very popular spot with van Campers to be fair
@@RobOutdoor good luck
Thank you 👍
