    You can also do a twisted square knot by not doing the right and then the left and so on, but by knoting only on one side throughout!:)

  • @MintChocChip100
    @MintChocChip100 12 років тому

    i suggest dipping the end in a bit of water to unite the threads together or squeeze the string together for about 2-3 seconds with your fingers so the threads dont fall apart before adding the beads through. or you could thread the string into a thin needle and thread the beads through the needle. :) hope this helps! dont worry, this happens to me all the time too! :D

    I love these I can't wait to make my own! I already know how to make the square knot (don't worry everybody it's hard at first but it gets easier) I learned with this really yucky brown yarn stuff that smells like poo, and it was tie so you cant put it on and take it off whenever you want. I love these they are so cute and I can wait to try it!

    @MusicNeverEnds04 You can use materials around the house too, like embroidery thread, yarn, string etc. Or try buying jewelry making sets where they have coloured string and nice beads. You don't need closures, you can just knot the ends of the bracelets to fit your wrist. Or you could take apart your old bracelets (or broken ones) and use those closures! That's what I did! Though warning, you will have to use pliers and it can be fiddly and annoying, so ask an adult if you need help. :)

    Another good idea:
    Once you have put on your bracelet closures and cut off the string, it is a good idea to coat the knots in clear nail polish. This holds the knot from fraying or loosening :)
