I LOVE the way you do the adjustable "lock" on the bracelet. I have made tons of stackables using another method wich makes it very complicated to make the lock centered! you made my day! thanks alot!
Great tutorial! I made a TON of those bracelets during my last year of college. I really like how you finished off the bracelet...really looks cool. I always just created a loop with one end and tied a button on the other.
3 words, you're. a. genius! i used to make these when i was younger but i never knew how to finish it off. omg and i cannot wait for you to show us the spikes one, amazing!
Yay! I'm already buying strings and threads so my nieces and I can make bracelets this coming summer. I'm going to practice all of them so I can be a good teach! Thanks sweetie!
okay, seriously. I LOVE YOU. haha, thank you so much for doing all these amazing videos, that actually teach us, and not just leave us confused. I know that you are probably super busy, but its so nice having someone with so much talent, teach us some of their tricks!
This video was really helpful and you did a really good job of showing how to make the knots close up! Thanks for the tutorial and I would actually really like to see how you made ALL of your bracelets! They look great!
@McFlyismyloovee You know?I really like teaching! I really like helping people when they ask for it. It makes me feel good and I feel like I am doing something worthy and adding value to life....I like inspiring people and I love it when u guys send me pictures of what u have made. It really warms my heart!
@youaremybaby1 of course! cut into strips and u re on a roll.. the dress that I wore in the last photo...well the whole top was made by doing this! ..took FOREVER BUT it turned out wonderful!
I used to make these bracelets all the time! But I would use the thin string and I actually LOVE this so much better! Thanks for the idea of using this thicker rope/yarn :D
This was such a great demonstration, very clear and easy to follow! I hope if you have the time you show how to make all the bracelets. You are a very creative and talented young woman. Thank you for sharing your ideas :)
Just a tip, but if you have any shoelaces from old shoes, then you can use those to make this Square Knot bracelet! (of course you should wash them first) I hope this helped! It's a great way to reuse materials! Thanks for the tutorial, it was so helpful, I made my first friendship bracelet with shoelaces!
Wow! I Love This Tutorial. I watched a video like this about a month ago. I think the girl was making a red bracelet, but she went so fast and didn't explain it very well. This one is Fabulous, though. Thank you for sharing and now I am off to try this. :)
You're fantastic! This was the best tutorial of making this bracelet. I've been looking for a simple video clearly showing how to make it. Keep up the good work! :D
i tried this out with a denim flat string, and it looked awesome! thanks so much for this video and i can't wait to see your next bracelet tutorial!! :D
while watching this, i was like, 'i wanna do it! but i don't have string :(' then i read the description, where you said you could use yarn, and instantly remembered i have tons of pretty purple+blue yarn. i am so doing this! :DD
I make these all the time! but I go hiking a lot and these are usually used as survival bracelets (which is what I use them as) . Their really cute and a good rope source(:
oh i really like the peace sign and the spiky one :D but then again i love all of them so as long as you make a video for each bracelet i will be satisfied :3
I just created this and used a leather string. It was a little bit more difficult but looks amazing. Thank you. Oh and please make the peace sign braclet I would so love to make that!
@sugarchocolatebrandy u welcome! yah with yarn u'll have to run it through a bees wax thread..so that the small fibers doesn't get caught on each other when you knot!
i found it!! its rainbow nylon chord, usually used for chinese knotting :D if you go to a crafts store and ask for "silky chord" they'll probably know what you're looking for :)
I knew that technique too! I only didn't do it with a cord. If you always e.g put the left string under the base string you get a nice spiral that you can also wear as a bracelet :)
oh my goodness they are all so cute! i've been meaning to buy some stackable bracelets...but now I really want to make them myself! :)) the brown braided one next! :)
Please do the one that looks like a leather braid type thing. I have always wanted to make/have a leather bracelet. So cool. Thanks so much for doing all of this
how creative an organized u r girl.i loved watching you do it.i have done this to.but i never used superglue cause we were taught to end it and thats it.well they always ended up broken or something happened to it.i mean the glue advice i believe is a very good advice.
oh man the spiky one looks dangerous, lol! I'd really like to see the brown braided one! I've been eyeing something like that at H&M for a while but nothing beats it yourself!
@lilwonder86 haha I can change the music..but the talking fast I can't help. LOL trust me I have tried to slow down and i get so confused that I can't vocalize my thought. You are more than welcome to pause and stop whenever you need to! Gluck!
Directions are so easy to follow, you stay on subject,no complications, amazing DIY!
I think the clipboard for a working surface is a great idea and I absolutely LOVE the "adjustable" slide finish on this bracelet.
I LOVE the way you do the adjustable "lock" on the bracelet. I have made tons of stackables using another method wich makes it very complicated to make the lock centered! you made my day! thanks alot!
