I seriously don’t understand how your channel doesn’t have 500k plus. It’s a shame honestly your channel is so informative and your channel has great content. TacticalBassin deserves more SUBS!
Justin Hermansen because so many fisherman on UA-cam watch the youtube fishing channel reality t.v. that is the googans squad. Let them couchlock and watch that and learn nothing while fisherman like you and me watch these guys and learn and then go actually catch fish. If you haven't seen it I also recommend "uncut angling" on youtube. Uncut and Tactical are the best there is for info and entertainment!
Tom Fenger I like the Googan’s and just cuz they have a different style doesn’t mean you shouldn’t watch them. The Googan’s are more for entertainment while tac basin is more informational
Wanna know why these guys are the best at what they do ? ... it's what's NOT in their videos ... no obnoxious soundtrack, no Guy Fieri screaming "Were takin' a trip to Fishtown" nonsense, no BS. They explain things thoroughly, don't edit out their misses and genuinely enjoy what they do and they do it well. Oh, and the underwater footage is second to none. Well done guys. I have the attention span of a gnat and even I watch your videos all the way through.
I can not wrap my head around why tactical doesn't have 10x the amount of subs that they do. Easily the most informative and descriptive channel on UA-cam. Keep up the excellent work fellas.
I till don't understand how these two gentlemen are not over 200k subscribers by now! I have learned so much this year alone from these two, we appreciate all of the great tips/info! Tight lines
Its from being outside of the whole high profile tournament game. If this was surfing, everyones into the pro circuit, and we are more like big wave riders. "The Maverick's of Bassin'."
I asked for some straight fishing videos a couple days ago and Matt and Tim bring the hotness! I have been killing it on the Largies here in Illinois mainly on jerkbaits and had my best day of fishing a spook 2 days ago! Love this time of year! Tight Lines!
You guys keep raising the bar with quality content and production. Your response to viewer feedback and personal vision for the channel makes it one of a kind. We appreciate it! Well done.
Great video and excited to see you guys at the delta. Please make more delta bass fishing videos please? Lol I know it’s a long drive from Clearlake, but learning how to fish that place effectively is something I struggle with.
Had to get a flash back on this one, striper time is rt around the corner. Lol. Have always mainly fished for them at night here in TN with a broke back thunder stick as slow as you can reel it. Its such a rush at night, the blow ups will litteraly about scare you to death. Bait goes tic tic tic tic tic BOOOOM.. So excited for this spring.
I thought the first striper video was a treat, This tops it. Now i'm looking forward to those Michigan small mouth videos you've been dropping pictures of. keep up the great work and stay safe on the road guys.
You guys are great. Time fantastic editing Tim. Matt and Tim you look like my best bud when we fish. All smiles and laughs if we are smashing them. Can wait to fish you guys! 81k keep, it up
Enjoyed watching you fellows having a good day. Although I don't have stripers where I fish, learned something by watching your retrieving methods. Always take home something from your videos. Motivating me to try the S-wavers I have but haven't tried. Thanks.
I would absolutely love to go striper fishing, but there isn't much of those true stripers locally. I want to chase them with a fly on a kayak, or conventionally from a boat. Such a bad to the bone fish from everything I have heard and seen. Who wouldn't want to chuck big baits or flies for Ole Linesides and go for a ride, especially if they smash some topwater. Thanks for the sweet video and tips as always and grats on the PB. :)
For me on the California Delta, when the stripers aren't commited to hitting a topwater but following it I tend to pause the bait after a couple twitches to get the stripers aggrevated to attack the topwater lure. It works every time for me. Sweet PB by the way.
East coast congrats! My son an I rock 20 an 30 lbers plus as the lights of N.Y. city start to shine. Big swim baits bucktails an crankbaits are the ticket for monster stippers off the out going tide flushes all the bait out of the marshes an tidal flats. Bass boat light gear hang on just an all out blast thanks for a great video loved it!
TacticalBassin late Oct sometimes into 1st week of Jan. Temps of the water most important it will start to roll in the mid 60s low 50s smokin lower 40s comin to the end.
Those top water hooks and a jumpy striper are no joke. Ask me how I know? Looks just like my hometown in Rhode Island. I love me some fall striper fishing.
HEY MATT AND TIM i like the switch up in species of bass i love this episode..im from Cali here in Madera..we go to a place called Medota Delta Canal in Firebaugh Ca, Where some trophies can be caught once in awhile...its very hard to fish almost like a giant running River its a canal system with Striper Bass, Largemouth Bass, Catfish, Carp, silverside minnows Bluegill Nd Red Ear . When i watch your vids im always looking at techiques and baits..anyhow I like to see u after them stripers keep it up looks like so much fun. Thanks for the vids guys. I would definatly like to see yall fish there sometime and include in your videos.
I'm only 4 minutes in but wanted to say already one of the best videos you've made. Pretty sick editing too. You guys keep fishing there you're going to need a bigger net.
Awsome video guys, ive been striper fishing for years but only bank fishing from the bottom with weights ive only just started throwing lures and boat fishing any tips on where to go for them i live in freeport but go to rio vista or farther with the boat
Matt it is Rossi your so brave to wear sandals while striper fishing I remember when I got a few to land on my shoes , OUCH !!! Lol , your my hero lol 💪🏻💪🏻
I love the striper fishing content but I really love the Epic editing. Please show more chest cameras in the future if possible. It is awesome seeing what you guys are looking at. Thanks!
I catch myself binge watching your channel when I'm not fishing! Great channel guys I love it. I like the hoodie you have Matt and the black and white hat! Love to get one if you could tell me how!!🤘🤘
A few reasons. The Talons are just power, we didn't have to mess with hydraulic lines at all. Also, they don't show when they're down like poles do. Nothing worse than having everyone know when you're sitting on your sweet spot.
Now that you mention it I haven't caught a big Bass striper fishing but I have caught bull sharks, sheepshead, red drum and one monster of an alligator gar.
Great vid boys, reminds me a lot of the barramundi fishing we do on Daly River in NT Australia tidal river big fish over a meter destroy rods and tackle easily great fun nice work keep it up
Im curious to try a large 190 whopper plopper for Stripers. Hoping to test one out next season. If you guys could only pick 1 color for stripers what would it be? Bone ?
Are you guys throwing the high speed Tranx or the 5.8 speed??? I figure the 5.8 because of the handle (unless it was changed) and the fact that the 5.8 still recovers like 30 inches per turn which is perfect for topwater.
I remember when Matt was trying to explain rod action and weight in his old video he said watch the rod load up and the whole rod will FLEX from reel to tip pause at 2:00 and close up explanation
I remember every little info from your old swim bait videos it help me get my 6.9 from lake berryessa this year going back in a couple of weeks for that slow roll hudd application soon
Awesome video, I'm telling all of my fishing buddies about you guys! When you say you are fishing the flats, how deep is the water? Keep posting PLEASE!
Haven't even finished watching video but you guys are so bad ass. Admire what you guys do and respect the passion you have. Gotta hit the sack tho. Just finished 14 hour shift at ups. I'll finish tomorrow. Give me something to look forward to!
You should take a trip to beaver lake in Arkansas. Huge stripers. I caught some high 20s and my buddy caught a 40. Vertical jig jumbo shad if you do go.
What do you guys think of the St. Croix mojo bass swimbait rod? Have other mojo and like them a lot. I’m wondering it has a softer tip. I don’t want a broomstick. Any help would be great guys! Love the videos and plan on striper fishing soon off jetties in Jersey.

General Killshot ya that is a good way to look at it! They have there own style and it works for them!
General Killshot "internment" lol 😂

A 30 minute Tactical video?!?! I think I speak for us all when I say YYYEEESSS!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah buddy!!
I asked for some straight fishing videos a couple days ago and Matt and Tim bring the hotness! I have been killing it on the Largies here in Illinois mainly on jerkbaits and had my best day of fishing a spook 2 days ago! Love this time of year! Tight Lines!
Yeah buddy!! Gotta love that spook bite!
You guys keep raising the bar with quality content and production. Your response to viewer feedback and personal vision for the channel makes it one of a kind. We appreciate it! Well done.
Thank you Jeremy!
I desperately need a fishing bromance like you guys have 😏
Papa Squally I want the relationship they have but with a hot chick!
Bwahahaha you guys are both too funny!
absolutely love the shot at 9:48 when both of y'all look like your about to swing on a big one!
Honestly it's bittersweet to see the tactical channel grow... this is going to make too many newbs in my area become good fisherman lol.
So good. Having drag peeled like that on those delta stripers are nuts!
They're CRAZY!
Great video and excited to see you guys at the delta. Please make more delta bass fishing videos please? Lol I know it’s a long drive from Clearlake, but learning how to fish that place effectively is something I struggle with.
Thanks for watching Bud! We love the Delta and get down there as much as we can.
Wow...we asked for more striper videos.....you did NOT disappoint. Your videos continue to impress in every category. Keep up the great work!
Thank you!!
Had to get a flash back on this one, striper time is rt around the corner. Lol. Have always mainly fished for them at night here in TN with a broke back thunder stick as slow as you can reel it. never caught one of those giants before, add that to my bucket list fish
They're so much fun! They pull HARD!
I thought the first striper video was a treat, This tops it. Now i'm looking forward to those Michigan small mouth videos you've been dropping pictures of. keep up the great work and stay safe on the road guys.
Yeah buddy! Michigan is a GRIND but we'll find them! Gnarly weather out here right now
The cinematography on this video is absolutely killer! Great job guys!!
Thanks!
El duo de la historia Matt and Tim! Best of the best
Thank you!!
I’ve never fished for stripers but they look like a ton of fun. Great job fellas
They're a blast!
You guys are great. Time fantastic editing Tim. Matt and Tim you look like my best bud when we fish. All smiles and laughs if we are smashing them. Can wait to fish you guys! 81k keep, it up
Thanks Bud!!
Awesome video guys!
Thanks!
The perfect fishing video! Lots of action, and at the end class begins! This format, grow you will!
Thanks Bud!
Y'all weren't lying about the next striper video! Great footage and keep up the awesome work gents!
Thank you!!
come to cape cod for late april - may. its definitely a bucket list for all anglers. the striper action is insane
Would LOVE to do that! We don't know much about it but would sure enjoy the trip.
Enjoyed watching you fellows having a good day. Although I don't have stripers where I fish, learned something by watching your retrieving methods. Always take home something from your videos. Motivating me to try the S-wavers I have but haven't tried. Thanks.
Awesome! That's a great take away
Lol you guys had soo much fun in this video haha . Good stuff guys. The most I've seen you guys laugh.
Ha! We had a blast!!
Amazing video and love watching the boat move with the giant hook up's. Reminds me when I go for giant king Chinook in the fall on lake Michigan.
Isn't it incredible how they can drag the boat??? So powerful! We're actually on the shores of Lake Michigan this week :-)
What a way to wake up, greeted by a tactical bassin video
Ha! Thanks for watching!
B roll is awesome in this one! Great video you guys are the best!
Thanks Paul!
Crazy to see how much the channel has grown since you bumped your upload schedule. Consistency is king.
+rickyd454 pretty incredible!
How many times have you two hit each other on the hook set?
I’ve gotten whacked and whipped a good number of time and my friends and fish from the bank!
Cody Mil
Hahaha hit a few times but someone we almost always manage to miss.
For me on the California Delta, when the stripers aren't commited to hitting a topwater but following it I tend to pause the bait after a couple twitches to get the stripers aggrevated to attack the topwater lure. It works every time for me. Sweet PB by the way.

That's awesome!! We'd love to get out that way when its going crazy!
TacticalBassin late Oct sometimes into 1st week of Jan. Temps of the water most important it will start to roll in the mid 60s low 50s smokin lower 40s comin to the end.
Damn i totally thought we were going to see a new pb largemouth!
Those top water hooks and a jumpy striper are no joke. Ask me how I know? Looks just like my hometown in Rhode Island. I love me some fall striper fishing.
BEST UA-cam CHANNEL ON THE PLANET.
That was awesome. Nice work fellas, thanks for taking us with.
Thanks for watching!
I absolutely love watching you guys fish and all the great info!!
Thank you!!
Hahaha for sure! Thanks for watching!
Great to see you guys go for stripers especially in waters that have both bass and stripers too, you guys should target both
Thanks!
Awsome video guys, ive been striper fishing for years but only bank fishing from the bottom with weights ive only just started throwing lures and boat fishing any tips on where to go for them i live in freeport but go to rio vista or farther with the boat
you guys rock thanks for the video!! I live in Stockton and never get that good a day on the water... what part of the delta are u fishing?
Unbelievable video quality Love it as always guys
Thank you Bud!
That was really fun to watch! And your production values are through the roof!
That was awesome!! Congratulations on the new PB, epic they were just crushing that S-waver, that blow up was sweet!!:D
Thank you Shane!
Matt it is Rossi your so brave to wear sandals while striper fishing I remember when I got a few to land on my shoes , OUCH !!! Lol , your my hero lol 💪🏻💪🏻
LOL! Hey bud!
Miss you bro little man says hi
Call me 5107600318
B roll is awesome! Keep doing this
Thanks Jake!
Uh oh hitting us with some b roll lol...Awesome video guys!! love when you guys do these types of fishing videos.. keep em coming!!
Ha! Thanks!
I lost my biggest striper of the year today, maybe 5 yards out. Gonna give it a try again tm morning.
Awesome video and congrats on your PB brother. Loving this fast and furious striper action.
Good team work. That's how you do it right there
Thanks Cody!
I love the striper fishing content but I really love the Epic editing. Please show more chest cameras in the future if possible. It is awesome seeing what you guys are looking at. Thanks!
Thank you!! Appreciate the feedback
I catch myself binge watching your channel when I'm not fishing! Great channel guys I love it. I like the hoodie you have Matt and the black and white hat! Love to get one if you could tell me how!!🤘🤘
Thanks bud! Email us at tacticalbassinapparel@gmail.com
Loved this video. Idk if you have a said this in a past video but what was your reasoning behind switching from power poles to the talons
A few reasons. The Talons are just power, we didn't have to mess with hydraulic lines at all. Also, they don't show when they're down like poles do. Nothing worse than having everyone know when you're sitting on your sweet spot.
TacticalBassin those are good points! Thank you! Looking to get some and was trying to figure out which ones I wanted
Do you guys do charters of any sort ? I'm stationed in lemoore California and I haven't had a great day off bass fishing since I got here
Have you ever hooked a giant bass while striper fishing and if so how big
No FREAKS but a lot of 5-7 lbers over the years
Now that you mention it I haven't caught a big Bass striper fishing but I have caught bull sharks, sheepshead, red drum and one monster of an alligator gar.
Great vid boys, reminds me a lot of the barramundi fishing we do on Daly River in NT Australia tidal river big fish over a meter destroy rods and tackle easily great fun nice work keep it up
You should come to KY and we will tie into some big ones on lake Cumberland.
Sounds like a blast!
where on the delta are were you guys???
How are you using those big baits with braids without breaking off and can you do a video on how you do that
Heavier braid is the way to goi. We've actually got a video on how to do it, thanks for commenting and watching the vid, its appreciated.
Im curious to try a large 190 whopper plopper for Stripers. Hoping to test one out next season. If you guys could only pick 1 color for stripers what would it be? Bone ?
Bone for sure
One of my favorite channels by far! Another great video! What part of the delta are you guys in?
Thank you!! We did quite a bit of running around, just fishing all the flooded islands.
Great Fun watching that much fun...what was the water temps and how deep,or shallow were they ?
U guys rock! Best fishing videos on the net!
Thanks you!!
Are you guys throwing the high speed Tranx or the 5.8 speed??? I figure the 5.8 because of the handle (unless it was changed) and the fact that the 5.8 still recovers like 30 inches per turn which is perfect for topwater.
Exactly, we're throwing the 5.8
Matt is not kidding on horsing them in at all ......
The fishing Experience lol when he says he "locks down the drag" he isn't joking!
Tom Fenger that rod bend at 1:58 close up doesn't do it justice
Hahaha Yes Sir. Button that drag and turn their head!
I remember when Matt was trying to explain rod action and weight in his old video he said watch the rod load up and the whole rod will FLEX from reel to tip pause at 2:00 and close up explanation
EXACTLY! I'm so impressed you hung on to that info and saw it happening.
I remember every little info from your old swim bait videos it help me get my 6.9 from lake berryessa this year going back in a couple of weeks for that slow roll hudd application soon
What part of the delta and where did you launch if you don't mind answering I'm from the valley
Awesome editing in this vid especially the beginning! I don’t know if you guys do your own editing but you guys do an amazing job if you do
That's all Tim, he's really good with the editing. Thanks for taking the time to let him know! And the Stripper/Striper thing is soooo funny!
How deep were you guys fishing? We were there a few weeks ago and caught a few dinks only...nothing big...
Totally varied. We caught them from 5 to 20 feet of water
Man, the editing quality of this vid was great. Keep it up!
Awesome video, I'm telling all of my fishing buddies about you guys! When you say you are fishing the flats, how deep is the water? Keep posting PLEASE!
+Kevin Showalter Thank you kevin!! Ranges from 2-10 feet on the flats
Awesome video thanks for sharing! I always look forward to a new TB video!
Thanks Bud!
Haven't even finished watching video but you guys are so bad ass. Admire what you guys do and respect the passion you have. Gotta hit the sack tho. Just finished 14 hour shift at ups. I'll finish tomorrow. Give me something to look forward to!
Thank you Bud!
Are they using straight braid to the s-waver
We were part of the time. Later in the day we began running a 30 lb Maxima Leader.
whats the gopro set up on the dash and what mic and adapter do you guys use
Incredible video! Amazing content as usual, and the production value was great as well!
Thank you!
Is it the same s-wave that u colored the tail many moons ago? Fringing awesome day for y’all. Great flicker show. Keep them coming...👍🏽
Awesome video fellas! Congrats on the new PB Tim!
Do y'all still throw Calcutta 300/400's or primarily Tranx now?
Oh yeah, definitely. We use both :-)
You should take a trip to beaver lake in Arkansas. Huge stripers. I caught some high 20s and my buddy caught a 40. Vertical jig jumbo shad if you do go.
That's awesome!
Great video, really enjoyed watching
Thank you!
What do you guys think of the St. Croix mojo bass swimbait rod? Have other mojo and like them a lot. I’m wondering it has a softer tip. I don’t want a broomstick. Any help would be great guys! Love the videos and plan on striper fishing soon off jetties in Jersey.
Jarred Monaco I was talking to a guy who was visiting st Clair in the spring who had one and loved it
OutdoorsUnlimited 101 thanks for letting me know. I appreciate it
Jarred Monaco - I purchased this rod in April but haven't used it a lot this year but I do like it. Honestly compared to my other casting rods it kinda is a broomstick but it's not heavy in the hand. The rod is rated at 1 to 4 oz and you won't have any problem casting 4 or even a 5 oz bait imo. If you can get your hand on it before buying it would probably be best but it's a good rod for the money. Hope this helps
Nice job! All around good production eye candy.
Thank you!
This was awesome. Thanks guys.
Thanks Jacob!
Noticed you had a red front hook on your pencil popper. Wonder what you guys think about the red Hook deal. I put em on the front of most of my cranks. May all be on my head but I feel when I hook those fish it's over 75% of the time it's on the red front treble. When I have a normal steel one on it seems like I get alot of rear treble. Would be interesting to hear your thoughts. Great video
We've actually got a video on it. Search Tacticalbassin Treble Hooks for a video that will really get you thinking.
TacticalBassin thanks, gonna watch it now.
Matt - what size hooks are you putting on that bubble walker??? The 4X’s or the owner 3x’s???
That intro is 10/10 .....awesome
Thank you!!
wow, just incredible in top water
Thank you!!
Probably not a usual question but where the hell are you getting the music. Loved alot of the music you guys have been using for your vids. Thanks
Hey guys just wanna say I love the video editing on this one great job keep it up
Awesome! Great stuff! And that Rover looks pretty cool.
Thanks bud! That bait is awesome, shame its no longer available
Congrats and you guys kick ass!
Thanks Bud!
Man that looks like fun I have never caught a Striper on top before but plan on it do it soon that's awesome
Its too much fun!
Looked like it you guys hammered them
How bout a live Q & A video? Just a thought
How recent was this trip?
Gosh this video is amazing! Love watching your videos!
Thanks Ivan!
I’ve seen good videos of stripers on weighted fluke twitch baits.
They showed how it was all about the cadence of the retrieve.
