Daily capping crux points on 10x dwarf weeds / lantadyme seeds cost 625 seeds. With juju farming + supreme greenfingers + outfit ( and no dwarven stuff) i get around ~2400 herbs. So i dont get your 1.8 herbs/seeds ratio
When you start a farming run, start at the one it takes time to get to. In your case, youre supposed to start in trollheim since you have to run from the tele. Then you pot up, activate aura, then start harvesting and the run.
Mini pro-tip for compost bins: They accept noted items, but only one at a time. Meaning you can grab 1000 coconut shells from the GE, click the note on the bin then your character will automatically fill the bin with 1 supercompost every 1.2s for up to 5 minutes (logout timer). This could potentially be a good AFK money making method depending on the price of compost, which is rapidly increasing in price due to the latest update, especially ultracompost!
@@generalharness8266 The bull perk was changed and based on how it's phrased I think it benefits you *when the compost is being processed* just not *when the compost is being withdrawn in buckets.* Which actually would make it better, as you can put in like 1000 ultracompost to rot (I did not see a cap when I tried o_O It might be billions) with your bulls out, then swap them to more profitable animals afterwards once you've got a lifetime supply of compost in there ready to withdraw.
@@MegaChickenfish Not really, the advantage of the bull perk before was you could put bulls in when you withdraw the compost. Now its a trade off between a chance to save 400-1.2k gp worth of materials a hour to haveing a Yak or Dragon in the pen.
You should start your herb run at Trollheim (or whatever place it takes you the longest to get to) as this way you lose the least amount of time on your juju farming potion timer. :)
I think it would have been cool to see the price check at the end of the farm run, and have a visual of how many seeds were used and what they cost next to the herbs.
If you dont have lunar spell for trollheim teleport, start you herb run there. It will save you so much time of your juju farming potion. It might seem that you dont need spare time, but if you plant 10 seeds and you cape wont activate, it will take you a lot of time. So start with trollheim, end with wilderness. You also forgot to mention herblore habitat. It gives you currency as well.
For those with Lunar Tele to Trollheim and don't always have their spellbook on Lunars, I find it easier to keep a magic cape in the preset and swap to Lunar while at the bank, and the teleports are also closest to Fally and Ardy as well. But if you only care for Trollheim another option could just be spellbook swap to teleport if that sounds more preferable
Turoth farming, was previously used as a seedicide farming method, you can look up videos like that. Absolute insane amounts of seeds you can collect per hour there.
@@hdeems Oh, I wouldn't be able to tell you, cuz I had it on crush seed mode, netting me 320k ish farm xp per hour, now given that seeds are like... 14-30 xp mostly when crushed by the seedicide, you do the math there.
Set spellbook to Lunar. - Wildy sword to herb patch in wild (run south to tp to edge using sword) - Trollheim farm teleport spell - explorer ring to cabbage patch - crystal teleport / attuned crystal teleport to crwyr - master farmer hat to morytania / ectophial to morytania - catherby teleport spell - mystical sand seed (new patch) - north ardougne teleport spell is probably what I use for my herb runs in this specific order
before this update, i did 7 patches with only 1 seed each, got 70-80 herbs, now 7seed x 8 patches produces 250-290 only. Having mixed feelings about this. Im just gonna carry on 7 seeds till i unlock all perks from the shop.

6:15 My setup's probably not perfect either, but I'm just using the off-hand from sliske's endgame as it also works with bladed dive (even if no mobile perk) because I prefer not having to swap out my relics between PvM and herb runs. I also cram my inventory with things from various other dailies like vis wax (wicked hood + rc cape) and mining red sandstone (doing that last as it involves swapping auras but having the augmented pickaxe on me) though it does mean I resort to using porter charges on my necklace slot, it is nice to just have one big "dailies preset"
I’m never buying seeds anymore I’m already 120 farming I’ll just use seeds from PvMing therefore all being 100% profit. Stop buying and start collecting.
Keep in mind the number of herbs in the table is the minimum number of herbs. You can obtain more herbs per yield. The calculation for 1 seed vs 4 seeds vs 10 seeds is not exactly as shown

IMO, getting to the South Falador patch is faster with the respective Lunar teleport spell. Usually lands me within 3-4 spaces of the patch compared to the further distance of the cabbage patch teleport.
This guide is a bit lacklustre, you should start at trollheim patch if not using lunar teleports and you forgot the herblore habitat herbs, wasting juju farming potion timers
@Protoxx, forgot a huge thing in the guide. If you have a 120 Farming cape. Your cape will automatically put supercompost in your herb patch. Unlimited Supercompost, don't even have to bring the buckets in inventory.
Not to be a needless pedant, but the fastest way to get to the Fally and Ardy patches is actually by using their respective Lunar spellbook teleports, as they land you next to their respective herb patches. :)

Mainly you're looking for farm shops near farm patches as well as Port Phasmatys has a shop with 300 buckets in stock, none of which share stock. The bull perk in POF still seems relevant but now impacts the compost as its processing instead of when its withdrawn according to the perk description.

There's too much "numbers on paper" that resembles a math version of an essay, and the green and red below it were far more eye-catching (so I was distracted). Adding to that, the lead up to the math was packed with too much information for a guide to farming if you ask me. I understood the general idea though, probably. Overall, this video made it very obvious that "farming" is all about math and science. People don't play Runescape for the math and science!!!
What would be your recommended farming loadout to maximize herb runs, whilst using flower patches and allotments? going for max xp gains! I ask as someone who can log in 4-5 times a day, for maybe 10 to 20 min max.
Personally I carry a elemental staff, astral runes, natures and laws on me, cus the lunar book has a tele for the fishing guild and catherby, and I carry an ectophial. You can also you a canoe to go to the wildy patch. I also use fertile soil, so I never make compost. I find its pretty quick. I normally ignore the wildy patch though, cus to get out you have to run to level 20 wildy which is a pain and a waste of time. If you really want to risk it though, you can wear a demonic skull for a bit more xp, but again not worth it. Overall, good guide. One thing you should of mentioned is to check the daily herb at Pollitix, cus growing the daily herb yields more points.
Hiya Protoxx!!! I just came across this video and loved watching it as I enjoy all of your videos because they're so detailed, yet also fairly easy to understand for the most part. However, looking through the video I saw you suggested noting the herbs with the leprechaun, and someone else in the comments had mentioned the bag from Herby Werby for storing herbs. An option that could also be used, if you have signs of porter or the means to make them, as well as a grace of the elves necklace or the dark facet version, is wearing that on your herb runs to be able to automatically bank your herbs whenever you harvest them so as to re-plant even faster. I'm sorry if that was really long, but hopefully it could be used as a reference for future guides. Have a great day! :D
You can add 1 herb run a day to herblore habitat. Papa mambo sells 2 of each special herb seeds a day. With the price of juju farming potions right now it’s a good little extra bit of money per day, especially if you catch your own jadinkos for the marbled vines and make the potions yourself.
Best to leave Manor Farm for last Patch, that way once finished you can check on Animals and not waste time of the Juju. My run goes Trollheim (no lunar tp) > Garden of Kharid > Crwys > Morytania > Falador > Catherby > Manor
If you dont have trollhiem farm tele, starting your run at that patch allows you to hit all 8 patches with 1 dose of juju farming potion, which you absolutely should be using.
TIL modified botanist's mask teleport. In exchange, here's a teleport not listed: Lunar spellbook teleport to catherby is also a pretty quick way to get there, just a well-placed bladed dive away from the patch.

I hadn't thought of the wicked hood teleport, which I already have in my preset because I nab those 25 daily soul runes and teleport to vis wax in that same preset. Very handy item, especially since I doubt those teleport seeds are very affordable right now. And the table breaking down when it is/isn't worth it to plant 10 is great. I haven't unlocked that yet, but I'll get there.

The herbs per seed ratio is a minimum based on the avg of no compost, compost, Scompost and Ucompost. (No other boosts)

Awesome guide! There's also a herb patch at Herblore Habitat and it awards favour. Often forgotten due to low use of the herbs :(

Just make teleport tabs and call it a day.

Theres also the Lunar South fally tele that put you right next to the patches unlike ring.

South falador teleport on lunar takes you to fally draynor patch only 2 tiles walk to loot the herb way closer than explorer ring and saves one space

Can you get plant power by boosting your farming to 110? I have 104 and can’t unlock the final tier of plant power

@ 0:34 - Lumbridge tasks start at beginner and end at hard. Only need medium tasks for Explorer's Ring 3 :)
