I actually smoked a coyote this fall with my shotgun chukar hunting. As a rule I don’t hunt chukar with break action guns. Way too much work getting to them to only have two shots.
Yeah not sure I understand the break action shotguns for chukar. I've killed 5 chukar in 5 shots under 20 seconds. Got my 6th five minutes later. Limited in a 30 minute hunt but that's how we do it in NV.
Yeah, I've said it before, that's just some tough hunting. For me, Nevada looks like a better place to try didn't look as steep in a few of the videos I've seen.
Just came back from those exact cliffs. Some chukar seem miles above you when they cross the canyon... And the gin clear river damn... Blessed to have this as my backyard@@Thewesternwingshooterpodcast
These videos are great man!
Thank you very much:)
Travis Frank better watch out you’ll be the next host of the Flush. Keep up the good work
Hahaha! Well thank you for such a compliment:)
I have chukar hunted in Idaho every year since 1987. There are much easier areas to access. The video was nicely done.
Thank you very much!
Good to see you Gents getting West !!

You said it, Idaho is a beautiful place!
First time's for fun, then it's for revenge. They live in the best places and are addictive.
What brand bird vest are you wearing?
That one was a Pyke gear…. Not ideal for hunting out west. I switched to a final rise.

Can’t be much steeper anyways lmao! I was almost vertical several times

He said that will be his last time hunting chukar. He’s got to come back for revenge though… it’s the rule with chukar.
Oh…. I’ll be back lol
Chukar chasing in salmon hardest place to hunt them bastards. I prefer Hells Canyon below the tree line.
We did that too lol!
The elk gave it away for me, I know that road well. Kill a lot of bear up there and always see chukar.
I bet there are some nice bears up in that country!
Give you credit for hunting there but probably the worst place in idaho to hunt chuckers in the state
We learned that but we were successful. But yeah next time different area for sure
