Oh my gosh so MUCH coverage! Thank you! I don't know why I'm so fascinated by Japanese ferry trips, but I am. I really appreciate the detail of your coverage, especially the buffet! I watch these things from the USA and I love to see all the different types of food available in other parts of the world but so many content creators stop with "this is what I got"...great, and thanks for showing me, but what ELSE was there?? I didn't have to wonder what else there was this time!
Thank you for your wonderful comment! I'm so happy to read this. This is what I want to show foreigners. And I hope you will try Japanese ferry trips one some day:)
Me too. It’s probably so fascinating because the majority of the US is landlocked, and if you do live in a state (like me) where there is water, you don’t necessarily have to cross over it to get somewhere😂 We use cars, planes, and buses/underground stations (this really only applies to cities, I live in a rural area and there’s no such thing as public transportation)
@@Ariel-lol Thank you for the comment. Actually there are just a few people who travel by ferry because we have trains, cheap buses, bullet trains and flights. So only people who have plenty of time and probably like taking ferry like me lol
@@off-to-japan your so lucky to have so many transportation options!! I think I took a ferry once, i can’t remember if it was a dream or not, but I was young, like 5
Enjoyed your fun trip very much. My wife and I recently took the ferry from Shimabara to Kumamoto after going to Unzen Onsen and had a great ride. Will definite try this.
I’ve not seen anything I don’t like about Japan so far. I love the cleanliness, politeness, hard work, food, technology. I think I should have been born there and can’t understand why so many people want to sneak into my country, the uk, on boats.
Great video. First time seeing your channel and enjoyed the video. I havent seen any videos like this with this much hours. Your next journey when you are uploading. Please upload more journeys by ship and train. I have subscribed your channel 🎉🎉.
T.y.. for sharing! Would love to try this ship one day..very reasonble. From start to finish is just orderly. .. organized.. luv the tray concept to prevent food waste and the disposable gloves for sanitary purpose on serving ladles and spoon. Everything is very organized.. That's a big heavy ship! Are pets allowed? The sunrise is fantastic!
I think I never talked about a suite before because I've never tried it before. Even if so, the price depends on which route you choose. Which ferry route did you check?
@@off-to-japan I hope to be able to visit Japan some day. If and when that happens I hope to be able to experience as much of Japan as possible. From Hokkaido to Okinawa.

Sounds great! I've never visited Kumamoto or Shimabara before. Hope you enjoy this ferry soon.

You might find something bad if you live in Japan. But still good country though.
Everywhere has problems! Japan has crazy bureaucracy, and the work culture might kill you
Ferries are like mini cruise ships lol. Awesome videos as always 💕💕
I've never tried cruise ships yet! Anyway thanks for your comment!

Actually, I just had my suitcase locked only the dial lock on it.

I could live on that ferry, if I had a small room.
Yeah! You could! And it's pretty cheap!

Happy Chinese New Year! We don't really celebrate it in Japan though.
Not sure where you get the prices from. For another trip you reported a suite costing about $300 I checked online booking and it was more like $700.

Is it true that cities and people in west Japan are more laid-back and less tens than the east.
I totally agree that. I guess warm weather in western Japan makes people laidback.
