Ash Wednesday Cooldown At Maracas Beach

The annual Ash Wednesday trek to Maracas Bay was not as populated as in previous years.
However, sun bathers at the beach were excited to spend the time with family and friends and make the beach the best place to be on Ash Wednesday.

The last man that spoke is absolutely correct. There are other Carnivals that people can go to and it’s not expensive as Trinidad. Miami Carnival is the best for me🎭🎭

Yeah. One week at carnival even if you exclude the flight costs at least $5000.....US. Look at Maracas....unless you have friends/family. You gotta spend a fortune hiring a personal driver to take you there.
If Trinidad didn't market itself as the "Greatest Show on Earth" it wouldn't be held to such criticism. Very overpriced experience that doesn't live up to the hype.
Better carnival experiences can be had elsewhere

WHERE IS THE PEOPLE, THE BEACH IS ALMOST EMPTY. I BEEN THERE SOME YEARS BACK AND COLUD NOT FIND A SPOT ON THE BEACH.

You don't have to pay to go to the beach, even people who don't partake in carnival go to the beach on Wednesday so it has nothing to do with the price. There was a rough sea warning which may have kept people away ​@@FuShengAlex

Look at Maracus Road, part of it is a single lane. You think anyone wants to be stuck in traffic after two long days on the road. That entire North Coast road needs a face lift. Make the area a tourism community, with sight seeing points, historical points, straw market, hotels, retreat centers..etc...
