In 2014, the Kansas City Chiefs hosted the New England Patriots in week 4 of the NFL schedule in a game that would later be dubbed "The Arrowhead Massacre."
This game was dominated by Alex Smith and the Chiefs as they easily knocked off Tom Brady and the Patriots by a score of 41-14. After the game many questioned whether this was the end of Tom Brady and the Patriots dominance in the NFL.

    ***CORRECTION***
    1. At times during the video I referred Kansas City as "Kansas". Yes I did know that KC is in both Missouri and Kansas but didn't know you always had to stay it as Kansas City. That's on me! Thought you could say Kansas for short. Kind of like how New Yorkers just say "I'm from NY" and not New York City. Anyways, my bad. Chalk it up to me being your neighbour from up north, hehe
    2. Yes I accidentally read KC receiver as David Bowe when I had it written as Dwayne Bowe.
    3. And yes, I do recognize Tom as the GOAT but that he's had some things go his way. (tuck rule, Pete Carroll... and of course, Gisele)

Oooooo boy I heard "Kansas" and was on fire. I paused the vid ready to type a long ass comment. Thanks for clarifying, at all. Some of us KC Missourians take it too personal (ME). I wonder if St. Louis, MO people feel the same about St. Louis Illinois.
I edited this. (Now I know the right name is East St Louis, I'm from KCMO and it hurt me to mess up y'all name, I know the feeling. My b.)

@@StuntzMcKenzy2D haha that's exactly why I'm here. For the record though no one counts kck. It's just Kansas City, Missouri. It's only a big deal because of how much Kansas mooches off of Kansas City.

@@StuntzMcKenzy2D lol sorry.. it really sticks with people down there i guess. just to clarify, so I know Kansas City sits on the border of Missouri/Kansas.. just the Missouri side is called Kansas City and the Kansas state side is referred to as Kansas, Kansas state?

    • @StuntzMcKenzy2D
      @StuntzMcKenzy2D 3 роки тому +8

@@ClasherSports we usually say KCK (Kansas City, Kansas) and KCMO (Kansas City, MO). Both are Kansas City but most of things the rest of the country references are on the MO side Royals, Chiefs, music/media, culture. Even though KS has the soccer team and race track Also we have a lil bit of a border war historically and KU vs MU.

People don’t understand what happened say “Brady threw 3 picks in the NFC games against Greenbay and still came out on top.” No it was not his luck. You have to understand first Bruce Arian play calling is “no risk it no biscuit” downfield oriented and his quarterbacks are going to throw more picks. Against the chiefs the bucs did much more run and play action which is Brady’s style and he threw no picks. Second, all 3 picks came after the huge lead and it was thrown to great field position. One thing people continue to underestimate Brady on is the understanding of the game. You can quote things like 2-3 picks in a championship game but you can never point out a critical game which he was the factor that caused the loss. He simply makes good decisions all the time, unlike Rogers who’s throw cost him the last NFC Championship.

They drafted him high in the 2nd round that year(just like Jalen Hurts) and Tom was told to go out and perform with a brand new high pick QB breathing down his neck. Arguably it was worse for Tom, since he was 37 and felt the pressure from the outside world to see him fail to play past 40 at the time. This is what makes him great, he was able to put all this negative mental stuff past him and just simply perform greater than everyone else at his darkest hour. It ultimately became his finest hour.

Me during Brady's reign in the Patriots and first-half of the season with the Bucs: "Brady is not good; he has great coach and team around him."
Me during the second-half of the season with the Bucs: "Okay... yeah, he's good."

@@Thaulin Let's be honest, there was no proof that Brady was quote on quote "the best." Just the fact that the team he was on, even in the Bledsoe days, were quite good. Now that he's on a typically shìtty team and won a Super Bowl with them, and kearning Cam Newton, who I thought was overrated, also happens to suck, I have to give credit where credit is due.
Just to give you an idea how QB's can be deceiving; Philip Rivers, who people mock for constantly throwing interceptions, has the 5th-most all time passing TD's. Dan Marino, considered one of the best QB's, never won a title. Trent Dilfer has a Super Bowl title, etc. Just thought it was all coach, all team. Not to mention that Brady was painfully mediocre in college.

Alot of people forget about the 2013 Chiefs. A top 10 defense of all time, Dwayne Bowe, Travis Kelce, Jamaal Charles(Most underrated RB all time) Knile Davis, Alex smith. If there was one other receiver to do anything who knows that coulda been an all time team.

On 9/29/14 was the one and only game Tom Brady was benched in. His team that day lost to KC 41-14 (like 55. 41+14=55 OR 4+1=5 & 1+4=5). It was a span of 6 years 4 months and 10 days before the upcoming superbowl. Kind of like Brady could go 6-4 in his 10th SB.
In gematria, the practice of coding numbers into words, Benched=41 like KC's score of that game and Brady benched=55&62 like superbowl 55 and Patrick Mahomes=62, Tampa Bay Buccaneers=62 & Buccaneers=62.
In the press conference after that game in 2014 Tom said “when I suck, I’ll retire”=221, 95 & 112. Kansas City=122 (reflecton), Chiefs=112. Superbowl champions=95.
9+29 = 38 (the date of this game) and the SB is being played on the 38th day of the year this year.

I’m from Springfield, MO and went with my friends. Monday night football and Arrowhead broke the record for noise. I was wearing a Pats hat. It was a three hour ride home. My friend was so drunk that he told me he was going to “write a letter to Mr. Kraft about how he could operate the offense”. I was on the ~43 yard line about seven rows up. Go Pats!
