Here's a thought. The whole NIL thing that lead into where CFP is now started with a few players winning a lawsuit. What happens is a few players file a lawsuit about the 105 roster limit?
Nobody but a few of us seem to have thought about that...I brought it up when State Senator Ernie Chambers was sponsor of a bill to pay our Players way before NIL and asked a lot of people in the Weird Gerald Lincoln Journal Star, Grand Island Independent and Kearney Hub daily news paper sports talk shows on the Internet....and got told I was crazy ....that states and the NCAA would never allow it....well look where we are now !
I say welcome to The Huskers. We have heard alot about you....but here you will find that we base our feelings about someone who is going to represent our State and it's Football team based on what they do here, not someplace else, if you walk the straight and narrow, play the best football of your life and stay out of trouble with the campus cops and City Police.....there is NOTHING THIS FAN BASE WON'T DO FOR YOU NOW OR AFTER FOOTBALL....THATS JUST WHO WE ARE.
My bold prediction, Gunner Gottula will take a huge leap, now that he knows in his mind that he can play, and he will lock down that LT spot and Pritchard will lock down the RT. It does something psychologically when you can go into a season knowing that you have a good chance to start and it allows you to play confident and free. Last year, he wasn't anticipating starting at all and ended up getting thrown into the fire and he did pretty well. Hopefully this shoulder surgery doesn't set him back too much
A small nugget about the running back conversation… I believe that Haarberg could and should be a legit extension of that room. Similar to Taysom Hill in New Orleans. There’s only a handful of guys that big with 4.4 speed, who can throw, carry, and catch the rock. It’s a weapon I hope that Rhule and Holgerson have identified.
One greatly underrated benefit of getting Dana on staff is his bluntness. Matt is too soft and too attached to people... He needed Dana to come in and clean house... To kick ass and take names. It could be the perfect combination. Mat provides the carrot and the kind word with a pat on the back,.. and Dana comes in with a kick in the ass. It's obviously oversimplified... But I think Matt needed an outsider to come in And be blunt with him and be blunt with the players. Thank goodness Dana came and decided to stick around for a bit!
I've seen this chart before and I still don't recognize Bode Soukup or Luke Longval. Nobody talks about them at all. Are they walk ons? Are they going to be cut, do you think?
We don’t have to be a “machine” to be great. We don’t have to boo our own team and sell tickets to opposing teams because we’re unhappy. Ohio State has 1 championship in the last 20 years. Oregon has 0 championships in 100+ years. Just creating a “machine” of talent means nothing. Do things the Nebraska way. Develop players, care about players, respect your opponent. You can do those things and still have the ultimate success.
I knew ty was special his freshman year when I read the names in that in coming class. Thought he was black, cause that was the blackest name on the roster. Only to find out he's white. Told myself white DE with that name? Gotta watch out for this one 😂 real talk. 🤷🏾♂️ Shiut out to my guy Tyrone Robinson #9 Good look in the league...
Every head coach that's a great recruiter needs a hard ass counter coach that tells it the way it is. Majority of kids today aren't raised with both parents and more importantly with a good father. They can be self centered and lack maturity. Enter the hard ass coach that doesn't kiss butt.
Sipple he’s like the king of hot takes that never come through. He’s like I’m gonna be the hot tape guy, I’m gonna say Jacarri Barney should never feel comfortable even when he’s a senior, that way if anything comes to fruition, I can always go back and say, see I told you so Sean. It’s so obvious what he does with that and it is a little annoying. Like you don’t have to be the only guy that always has these outlandish takes on everything. It’s annoying.
what was the huskers highest graded OL this past season ? and is it fair to say that a OL at AL. even if graded at 50 is probably still better than what we had ?
No one can say, “Nebraska does not have a Professional Football Team”. The “College / Non Professional Football Players 😉 “have very little loyalty to the University of Nebraska Fan Base. Just Buy The Best Players Already!!!! GOOOO BIIIIIG ALABAMA- Georgia Tech- Miami- USC TRANSFERS!!
Why would starting player leave Bama for Nebraska coach battling sub 500. Character counts. Lawrence Phillips and Scott Baldwin do no good for recruiting great athletes of great character
Sip answering "What's your favorite breakfast food?" with "I have a problem" absolutely killed me. Great show as always.
ONE HUNDRED
Hash Holes?
Woot woot !! GBR!!! Still off-season champs baby! I’m excited for next year !
Great discussion, really appreciate you guys (also good to see you in NYC at the Brazen Tavern!).
There’s HuskerOnline Sip and there’s 93.7 the ticket Sip. Very different vibes. Fan of both.
Great show guys. Love the fact that you are going three times a week. Y’all have the best show out there.

Lawsuit's are the reasons they went to 105 rosters
@@HuskerPower97 I know but what if another gets filed just having fun wondering
@internationalmatt1 . it's a bizarre-O world we sometimes live in where you can sue McDonald's for coffee being hot.

Here's a thought, could you see Haarberg lining up at TE and occasionally dropping back to be that second running back?
I do
At this point, I would try him at left tackle 😂
@@adrianjkelly 🤣 It's funny cause it's true...😂
when you show the roster chart what's the difference between the bolded and regular names?
Eggs / butter / ground pork sausage
Hey Guys Wassup, I Heard We Have A New Member,I Heard About His previous Luggage Let’s Just Welcome Him & Move On, New Team New Start Thanks.. #GBR 💯

Dvoracek said in the interview with Jess in NY that they were looking to bring Javin back.
Sip has a problem for sure if he gets hives from seeing a hotel breakfast buffet. 🤣

Yes to both
Sip speaking the truth on salt and eggs!
Is our next best center on our roster currently a center (I.e. is there another Cam Jurgens on our Roster?).
Oof Cam is that guy but I can’t forget some of those snaps! 🤦🏻♂️
Indiana showed that an overhaul can change your trajectory. Makes sense that Nebraska would go this route.
Indiana did what colorado said they would do
Slp is correct about the eggs and salt !

Bro that old way of developing players is gone
Keep up

Bring back Kyle Vanden Bosch just for the rage.
They keep adding through the portal and have freshman recruits showing up. How are they gonna get to 105?
By cutting the guys that don't live upto standards in spring ball.
nothing was said about donte dowdell until after he signed last year...
Luke and Bode gone at qb to make room for some solid backups?
The people of Nebraska have earned this!
Pritchett also has a history of legal problems.
Good we need more of those types on the roster
@DrewTab Exactly
@@DrewTabfor real the less I can understand what they’re saying the better lol
We’re so fucking back
Talking about coaches on the recruiting trail and the images you showed were of the fired special team coach. Just saying
No excuses now for recruiting … buy your team… no reason why Nebraska can’t be top 10 now
Turner Corcoran has given Nebraska nothing, he has only taken.
I think the struggles had some to do with a QB who had happy feet, and would leave a good pocket

6-6 is not a great year Shawn.
Nebraska has not one 6+ games since 2016, so in that context it is a good year.

90's teams had plenty of those characters and did just fine. About time they stop recruiting soft country boys and try some edgy guys for once
Let’s Gooooooo🏈🎈🎈🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
