- How to get into aerobatics. This is my take on how to get into the world of aerobatics. everyone has a different road, these are just a few of my suggestions.
Books:
"Better Aerobatics" www.amazon.com...
"Basic Aerobatics" www.amazon.com...
I’m 50 and looking to start in aerobatics … I know a guy who started at 56 and is now 76 still flying acro.
My mentor and friend Sean Tucker is 71 and still teaching and mentoring pilots.
It’s never too late for new adventures
Age is just a number!!! Enjoy life because NO ONE can do it for you. I hope to become a pilot for the Air Force. I'm 37 with NO EXPERIENCE!
I love how you were literally learning and experimenting as you were making the video. I am super inspired to go aerobatic so thank you a lot for this video!
Thank you for the comment, I am so happy I got into it and try and encourage everyone to get into aerobatics
Awesome video brother. Thanks for the inspiration. 40 year old dream pilot here doing ground school training and videos like this make my day!
Thank you for the comment. I’m stoked to be able to motivate people working on their license.
How did it go? Got some hours under you?
Working towards doing loop-de-loops?
Very cool video man. This has totally been me this past yr. Bought my Pitts last Sept and plan on competition and eventually flying shows. As you said, I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
Dang I never would have guessed you just got the plane, I love the content you put out
Awesome video and beautiful plane, I love the Eagle! Breaking into aerobatics can be hard - depending upon your area, finding a school that teaches aerobatics may be very difficult. Best method of entry is to buy your own plane but you also have to factor in the cost of annuals, insurance, hangar, etc. I understand that some banks won’t finance experimental planes so that $60 - $80K may be cash. Thanks for posting this!
I agree completely.
Nice ! You're content is awesome. Thanks for the background on the Eagle. I see that plane all the time and wonder who's flying it. You or your dad.
Keep 'em coming and we'll keep watching 👍
Thanks Wayne. I’ve started up again. Hopefully I can keep it up
Awesome video !
Just curious, were you over diamond valley lake near KHMT ?
Thank you!
My aerobatics are limited to unplanned, low-level encounters with oil-patches, door-step ice and banana peels. The End. 😏
Hahaha
Looks like so much fun.
It really is!
Cool video with great advice. Do any of your fellow pilots recommend those academy-type aerobatic programs? …like Sean D Tucker’s one. I can’t find any info on whether those aerobatic programs are worth the cost.
Hey sorry for the late response, I would highly recommend Sean’s school.
Which video did you talk about? hunter who?
I think it’s Hunter Nedin
@@kevinmiller2903 Thank you
Pumped at 5AM LETS GOOOOO
Haha just catching up on comments.
Start with a lot of money.
And make poor life choices
I won't set foot on a plane so there's absolutely no chance of me trying any aerobatics.
It’s not as bad as you think
@@alexandercoatsthere's no way anyone will ever convince me that flying in an form is terrifying. My wife flew to Spain today without me because I refuse to fly. Her friend took her to the airport because just the thought of being around planes scares the crap out of me.
Are you going to the tequila cup?
probably won't make it, but some exciting stuff is in the works. I'm looking forward to getting back into competing
