I KNEW this would come up haha - so in regards to the numbuzin no.3 serum: I definitely still enjoy this serum and have used it throughout the past year too! Although just not as much as I used to hence why it didn't make the video this time 😌 It has a place on my desk as I still love using it before makeup prep to hydrate and plump - but I've talked about it constantly for YEARS so thought to try something different for you all! Also, a lot more fermented/probiotic focused skincare has released since I discovered this so I've been curious to try others too~ but once again - by no means is it BAD or disliked by me, I am lowkey scared they may change/get rid of it since numbuzin have been reformulating/rebranding a lot of their products so PLEASE lmk if any of you guys see info about discontinuation 🥲🥲
I really tried to like the Melano CC Premium Essence, but it's just a little too oily for my liking. I'm also very tempted to try the Reedle Shot, so it's really nice to hear what other people are thinking.
I love the reedle shot! It makes my skin so smooth to the touch and it seems to be slowly erasing my tiny bumps. I started with version 100 and since I'm nearing the end I started switching to 300 nightly. It doesn't irritate me at all but tbh my skin isn't that sensitive to begin with. I also think it made the rest of my routine so much more effective.
Ive tried almost all of these except that Decorte and Matsukiyo, and my faves were Anua, Melano CC premium and the Celimax. But my forever favourite is the Numbuzin N.5+ for sure
I have the reedle 300 but like it's very painful and I don't really notice much benifits 😂 But like with Bffect Granactive retinoid I noticed a glow and softer skin right away.
❤❤❤ your videos! tyvm for all of your recommendations…especially from a fellow Aussie living on the humid east coast 😮 I have the same dehydrated dry skin as yours but I have to adapt everything to the humidity 😊🙏🤗💝💖💗
i think i will stick with my western vitamin c, the geek and gorgeous 15% vitamin c. i mix it with the vt pdrn essence. i have been curious to try the melano, but if it's oily and lower concentration vitamin c, i guess there isn't a point.
The Melano CC one is my holy grail, too. It says on the description letter that you need only about 7 drops. When you don't use more, it doesn't feel oily at all after about 3 minutes. The silicone oil in this serum makes it easy to spread and it dries down semi-matte on my combination/oily skin. Even my rosacea isn't bothered by it. For me it is very effective. The skin tone is more even and glowy since I started using it a few years ago. Pairs well with sunscreen.
Do you apply it right after cleansing? Or, do you apply it whenever during your serum stage? I've always read that vit c serums should be applied after cleansing, patted dry skin, and wait a few minutes for that to dry down/absorb before going in with a toner or other hydrator.
@ I already used it on dry skin after cleansing, and also after a toner in the serum step. It worked well both ways for me. I prefer it after a light toner, though. This way it locks in the moisture. Due to the fact you only need very little of the serum, the risk for irritation is very low.
I also have dry dehydrated skin type and love that i can just refer to products that work for Tina! Unfort. I have rosacea and completely rely on the im from mugwort essence.. im dependent on it ❤ so happy they came up with the formulation
The specific ingredient VT reedle shots definitely feel less pricly! I've purchased a few single use ones with hydrogel masks and didn't had any issues. While regular 100 one ALWAYS sensitizes my skin and I need around a week to fix it. Even the vit C one feels less irritating lmao.
Great video! I’ve found the matsukiyo by accident on my trip to Japan in March and I loved it so that I had to get another bottle on my trip in November. However I just used it as a normal serum, not as a booster. Didn’t actually know 😅 So I have to try it out as a booster. But what would you recommend using in the serum step? Another Niacinamide serum or a retinol serum? No serum at all? Sorry for all the questions but I never used boosters before 😅
I keep wondering why nobody has reviewed The Ginza's Hybrid Gel Oil. I know it's ridiculously expensive but it's wonderful. Am I the only one who loves it???
I am the odd one but I prefer Melano CC lotion over essence. It gives me toner and serum in one step and the user experience is so much better. I really don't like the oily feeling of the essence.
If boosters become a actual thing (which I don’t believe they really have yet) they are some serious contestants to replace toners if I understand correctly.
Random suggestion for u Tina, I think the Missha artemisia calming essence (toner) is almost better than the I'm from mugwort essence (???) Please do a review on it sometime 🥺
Agreed. The I'm From Mugwort did nothing for me and felt like diluted water compared to the Missha Artemisia. The Missha is also fermented twice, so it has way more benefits.
I got rid of my milia around my eyes (tho it was a quite mild problem) by being consistent with salicylic acid products and niacinamide around these areas. I still use a product from Some By Mi that I buy in YesStyle and it's an Mandelic acid and Centella Asiatica serum with other AHA and BHAs (and 2% salicylic acid!!). It's a white frosted bottle, 50 ml. Beauty Of Joeson eye serum with ginseng and retinal is also a true champion when it comes to the overall look and health around the eyes. It have worked for me so far. The milia has not come back 🤞🤞And the products I've recommended aren't that expensive either. You got nothing to lose,, really but all to win. Have a great 2025 ❤
Agree with the other commenter but I just wanted to add that you could use a higher concentration of AHA and spot treat the areas. I did that around my eyes, using a cotton swab.
im from singapore too! like the other commenter said acid exfoliation helps and my favourite mild one so far is by wishtrend madelic 5%! super light and its not something that sweats off during the day
Same. I was so upset when they repackaged so I kept one of the old glass bottles I used and cleaned it up to just transfer to any time I repurchase. Extra I know 😂
Im trying the melano cc vit c brightening essence and i really like it! I have oily skin and dont feel like its too oily for me, i feel like it dries down so quick and doesnt feel greasy on my skin at all (feels a tiny bit tacky after drying down). I use about 4 drops for my entire face and whatever is leftover on my neck. So far i really like it, i feel like it helps keep my skin pretty even but now i have a huge red pimple and im curious to see how much it will help with the hyperpigmentation after! Also its kinda funny how it smells like citrus for 10 seconds before turning into sweaty hotdog 🥲 I know melano cc has a lot of products and i would love to know what the differences are since most of the words are in japanese and i remember trying the translator app and it didnt really help haha

Tina is my favourite skincare youtuber, she's always honest and real! ❤ Please, stay just as wonderful and lovely! 💖

Your hair is looking noticeably healthier. ❤ Very nice!

ahh I can't wait until I can up the intensity 🤭✨
Wow 300 nightly?
I started in nov and still doing it only twice a week
@@TinaTanakaHarrisI saw the difference from the 100! Currently on 300
I'm glad someone finally mentioned the innisfree vitamin c serum. The texture is very light, and it helps fade my acne scars!
What is the percentage of vitamin c in it?
@bobotrivedi7308 3-0-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid (2%). Got this from innisfree website
Hello Tina! Love these best of 2024 videos ❤🍪
Been watching your videos for more than 3 years maybe, I don’t remember but I have not missed one of your videos ❤love your videos gorgeous 🤍🧡

I’d love to hear your thoughts on the anua hyaluron pdrn and the azelaic acid serum. ive seen it a lot in the japanese and korean skincare space
yes I've seen that one around and have been curious too!
I have the reedle 300 but like it's very painful and I don't really notice much benifits 😂 But like with Bffect Granactive retinoid I noticed a glow and softer skin right away.
your makeuo looks amazing tina!! I hope you'll do a best makeup of 2024 too!!

Do you use moisturizer with it or go straight to the SPF?
@MsZsnur I go straight to SPF, but my skin is on the oily side…
@annemarie0879 mine is too. I will try this too as I couldn't find a way to use this essence.
really enjoyed your video
Shocked to not see the numbuzin 3 serum. Is there a reason it didn't make it into the top serums of 2024?

“I’ll admit, I’d like to personally try the Tina Tanaka Harris serum for my own beautification routine”

I am curious, why is numbuzin no.3 not in the favorite serums? Is there a reason?

I keep wondering why nobody has reviewed The Ginza's Hybrid Gel Oil. I know it's ridiculously expensive but it's wonderful. Am I the only one who loves it???
Thank you!!! Do you know of a mildly alkaline serum or toner? Thank you again ❤️
Actually really love innisfree vit c serum, it brightens up my skin but I cant use it everyday, it dried up my skin :(
just wondering, is the numbuzin no 3 not really a holy grail for you anymore? do u have a sort of replacement for it?
pls check the pinned comment! 💖
I am the odd one but I prefer Melano CC lotion over essence. It gives me toner and serum in one step and the user experience is so much better. I really don't like the oily feeling of the essence.
are y ou also using a retinol while using the reedle shot? on the same nights?
I hatehate the melano cc essence. But mostly because of the texture, it wont let me put the next steps of the routine.
If boosters become a actual thing (which I don’t believe they really have yet) they are some serious contestants to replace toners if I understand correctly.
I’ve never been this early
Pls do a video for japanese lip gloss

I actually have tried the missha one it the past and didn't think much of it 😓
@@TinaTanakaHarris They actually did a renew, and it just made it soo much better
@ ooo okay - then I might have to give it a go!!
I have these big millia on side of my face. I live in hot humid Singapore. Combination skin . What can i use?
