For people who want to ride on rough surfaces and/or have a much smoother vibration free ride check out the Razor A5 Air. It's very similar to this one but instead of the solid urethane wheel it has wider inflatable tires. It is a little slower and about 3 lbs heavier but the ride is really smooth and you can ride it about anywhere. I live in Acadia National Park in Maine which has 50+ miles of dirt carriage trails and the A5 Air takes them in stride...except, of course for the steep hills up which you have to walk. All in all a great scooter!
@@radicalkonrad765 It is very low which makes kicking easier but you definitely have to watch out for high spots. As far as glide distance and kicking effort there is a price to be paid for the wider, softer tires, but the ride quality is so much better, and the experience so much enjoyable I feel the trade off are worth it. That said I eventually graduated to a dual 16” Swifty Zero I imported from England. Wow! What a difference in ever respect. Sort of like,trading in a pickup truck for a sports car!
I don't bend down to fold the scooter. I just pick it up and fold it because it weighs all of 8.5 lbs. Nice riding footage, although the last place I'd go for a joy ride is a parking lot. Drivers' IQ is -30 in a parking lot.

Hi everyone! 8 months post-review - Scooter works really great, wheels still good! Caution note - Highly do not recommend riding at regular speed and attempting turning at sharp corners (need to do wide turns to avoid falling off). Also, do NOT ride the scooter during ANY rainy season and on wet surfaces. Brakes will not work even at the slowest speeds.
Thanks for the update! I just ordered one. Picking it up at target this Friday. My jetson helix literally snapped yesterday. Finally an excuse to upgrade!

Got one a few days ago and I love it so far. My only complaint - and it's more like a concern - is that the break gets hot enough to melt shoe soles after a single use while going down a moderate hill. Any mods or fender break upgrade to prevent this from happening?
that thing iz a precisiun instrument so yu have to be extremely careful weth it take yer time im sure yuve got plenty of that too oh amd it wuznt mafe for the gas generatiun you see it came later well after the gas wuz used up
Hello Jonathan, The scooter rides average on other surfaces (slightly rocky surfaces). The vibration is roughly the same that you feel on your feet, but isn't that bad. As long as you're firmly holding the handles, then you should be fine. I personally feel a small vibration even on the slightest rough surface.
@@allegend Irregular surfaces will be bumpy and slightly uncomfortable, but can still be rideable. As long as you can control the handles as you ride through these surfaces, you should be fine.
Bought one before work and the first day I already ate shit down hill trying to avoid this divider in the trail busted up knuckle and hand pretty scrape on knees stood up went to work

the only problem i had with this scooter its so loud.
I'd probably put a bell on the handlebar just to warn walkers. And they cost much less on ebay than Target or Amazon.
