- In this video I finally get to test out the KRESS 60V 2 stage snowblower for the first time since getting it, and put it up against some significantly deep snow. The Kress snow blower is part of the Kress Prosumer tool lineup that features a 60 volt battery platform. This snow blower fetaured in the video is Kress model KG471 that comes with 4 of their 5.0Ah 60 volt battery packs, and is rated at clearing up to a 21 car driveway with 8 inch deep snow using only 2 of the included 5.0Ah batteries. This snow blower is also available in a kit with only 2 of the 5.0Ah batteries which is Kress model KG470.

Great review. Remember, snow consistency can vary drastically from fluffy powder to wet, heavy snow. Most ratings are probably based on more favourable conditions.
Yes for sure. I will do an updated video if we get snow with different conditions in the future as I’ve done in the past with another model. Typically we get heavy wet slushy stuff that even my gas powered 2 stage has difficulty with. Thanks for watching.

Impresive seems a lot better then all the other battery options out ive seen. My neighbor had toro and had issues with battery dieing ti fast the first time he used it haha.
Yes it is a nice unit for sure. The battery life is very impressive but not surprising. If you’ve seen my other Kress videos using their lawn equipment the battery life is always amazing. Thanks for watching.

Is the machine heavy to maneuver when you have to turn around to do each row? Most are. But curious if its easier than a traditional 2 stage commercial blower.
Much lighter than a traditional gas powered 2 stage like the craftsman model I also own. But has enough weight to keep it planted on the ground and not ride up over the snow. On my gas model it has power steering because it is a bear to turn on its own. When I first got this battery model I noticed it did not have power steering and was a bit concerned because of my experience with my gas powered unit, but it is very easy to turn in comparison and power steering although would be nice is not necessary on this particular model. I am really considering it. I would need to split the cost with family, so it would need to blow three driveways and one parking lot on the two sets of batteries (of course it would be great if the first set is re-charged by the time the second set is depleted would be perfect, but I realize these are not cyberpack batteries.)
I just wonder how it would compare to the Greenworks Commercial 82V (not 80v) with dual 8Ah Batteries. With the possibility of charging 6 batteries at a time one could open an electric snowblowing business.
The Kress is really impressive and the battery life is great but also not a surprise. I’ve been using their lawn equipment and even the prosumer handheld blower that uses the same batteries as this snow blower the battery life is amazing. Thanks for watching.

We typically always get really wet heavy slushy stuff. So I will do another video the next time that happens.
