Quick recommendation, when fighting major powers, you can edit your divisions to be smaller in size, reducing resource consumption and training time.

The division template I use is a 9/1 9 infantry battalions one artillery as a main troop.For shock troops I use a 9/4 9 motorized and 4 motorized artillery. Always make port guards as any nation, I use a 5 or 6 battalion division with support artillery. Focus on supply in the region as it help greatly by building truck trains supply hubs and railways. Cas is king and will shred an army with no air. Always go for superior firepower as a doctrine. And as for research always start with industry as you build civs, and guns support equipment etc with mills. Hopefully these tips help out!

When using aircraft be careful that the yellow circle has the entire area (where you send the aircraft) inside of it also be careful not to use overcrowded airport

try to build more close air support as it gives vital combat bonuses to divisions especially in the soviet union

I recommend making a cheap division for defending your dockyards so britain cant take them and weaken your navy.
A good one is just a row of infantry with 1 engineer company but if you have low guns you can do less infantry, cus they likely won’t engage in combat much and when they do they will have a massive advantage
