@@RobotHau5 I'll admit the supers are a little mundane by comparison to other fighters such as KOF and the like, but i think the idea behind it was have it be a little more grounded. at least that's my opinion.
Art style and graphics look very much like capcoms CP SYSTEM II era. Interestingly , some have said this game was created to take advantage of the popularity of 1v1 fighters at the time, SnK's KOF and Capcoms SF series, but they may have come into the game very late. It ran on a Taiwanese arcade board called Polygame Master created by IGS, who would actually go on to work together with SNK to release a few versions of KOF for their arcade systems. Either way, as they say, imitation is the most sincerest form of flattery, and CAPCOM was being flattered to death by companies like SNK and friends. In the end, the arcades were full of fighters and gamers ate them up. Was a great time to be an arcade player.

This game is released in 2000... as I remember. It's developed by a Taiwan company named "IGS". I saw this arcade when I was in high school. Some characters are spired from HK kungfu movies in 90s.
This is the best fighting game no one knows about. Me and a friend discovered it by accident at a now gone arcade. We played as much as we could. I'd kill to play this again.
Nice effort from Chinese company, IGS. Great graphics and good playability. This game could be considered a hidden gem of fighting games, since it was not spread properly. Master Huang is a great attempt to pay homage to Huang Fei Hung (from Chinese folklore and Jet Li's movies) but the best personification of him came from SNK with Lee Rekka, character of the _Last Blade_ game series. IGS appealed to the stereotype of muscle man to portray him but they didn't do so well. Lee Rekka is THE true homage to the Chinese warrior. Sorry, IGS. Another cool homage is the Scorpion character based on the 1992's movie _Operation Scorpio_ ( 蠍子戰士), played by Kim Won Jin, marvelous kicker, and they could do it better, but anyway... Other option about IGS fighting games - and my preferred one - is _The Killing Blade_ , a Samurai Shodown competitor. Despite the graphics don't be the state of the art like that one, the fun factor, coolness and playability are much much better in my opinion. You guys should give it a try.

This game is so obscure that one of its characters (Scorpion) is based on a character from an obscure king fu film called Operation Scorpion. I laughed when I saw that. Beautiful CPSIII style sprite work tho. I miss the days when it seemed like Capcom would make 3 or 4 new FG IPs a year We will probably never see a sequel to Cyberbots, Rival Schools, Darkstalkers, Power stone or Warzard and that gives me a Sad face.
Yesss I saw this next to a Darkstalkers machine waaay back. And at the time, I thought it was another Capcom fighter. It took YEARS to track this damn thing down again because it definitely wasn't even if it LOOKS just like a CPS3 game. Thanks!
It's playable on Fightcade 2 and it's 100% perfect. The entire set of fighters on the PGM arcade machine are all really great, like this and Spectral Vs. Generation.
I can't understand why Capcom abandoned this style for the 3d. I would love to play an ACTUAL steer fighter but with this 2d old style. And that's why the new Guilty gears with dragon ball fighterz have so much success. Arcsystem ftw
Ark Sys games are also in 3d. They just use a technique that give the characters a hand-drawn look. The reasons why most FGs are made in 3d nowadays are time and money. It's a lot more time consuming (and expensive) to develop hugh quality sprites with top notch animation. There's a reason why Capcom and SNK reused their sprites for years. The only current gen FG with pixel art sprites is Under Night In-Birth, and even then, it's a game that's also been reusing it's sprites for like a decade

グラフィック凄いけど動きとか演出とかどれもどこかで見た風のいかにもあの当時の格ゲーって感じ。
当時の子供感覚でみたら地味だし日本語も変で敬遠してたけど、今見ると動きも特徴的で面白いな。
