    My grandma bought me this one probably around 1979, I was 3 or 4. I remember it was one of my favorites. Seeing this video really brought back some good memories. Glad it showed up in my recommended section.

    I had that one as a child in the early 80s. And the front axle was bent exactly the same way. Childhood memories coming up!

    Bloody hell I haven't seen one of these since I was 5 which is now almost 40 years ago! Can't believe the memories it's brought back from so long ago...it was my favourite toy back then 😊

    You had done a great job. I had this car transporter and the orange BMW when i was a child :-). It's 40years ago now.

      @@DannysDiecastDisasters I had other Trucks in this scale from Siku and Majorette but no car transporter. This fantasy truck was a high light for me when i was 8 years old :-)

    I have a K10 that my uncle gave me. It's still in good condition, but one of the wheels is bent. Beautiful restoration!

    OMG!!!! DUDE I had this exact toy as a kid!!!! Am sure it's been donated to charity ages ago...otherwise I would have sent it to you to clean up as it was ...err 'well played with' hahahaha

    Had this Matchbox as a kid. I always thought of it as Thunderbirds-esk as well. Good job on the restoration!

    Pulled this one out of my old toy box from the 70's , mine still looks good. I ve got cases of 70's hot wheels in excellent condition.

    Love seeing these--they were made a bit too early for me to have gotten them from shops, but there used to be a few of these down at playschool and dentist, and some friends had some passed down from older siblings so I played with them a bit. Total nostalgia.

    I had one. It was my favourite of all my Matchbox and Hot Wheels. I have no idea where it is today. I have all my other cars and gave them to my two boys. I need to get into restoring them so maybe they can pass them on to their kids when they grow up.

    Absolutely gorgeous. Stunning job! I think I had this as a child. One of my all time fave matchbox toys along with the Matchbox 'Piston Popper' (my favourite ever toy car). Really a tough project and one that brought back happy memories. Thanks Danny! :)

    nice to see a restorer take the time to really clean and show attention to every part of the model. Most restorers on youtube only seem to care about what the finished thing looks like from the surfaces you can see, and use a 'that'll do' approach and dont take the time to really treat the entire thing with love and attention.     Dude! I had that as a kid, I've been wondering what it was called! And I never knew it had a trailer!
    Edit: I'm honestly going to find one to buy on ebay because it was my favorite as a little kid, it looked so futuristic. When I saw this and figured out what it was called it made me feel 5 again. Seriously, Thank You.

    I like the way you present this. Anyone watching can learn something from this. I agree with the criticism but I will say. Anyone putting themselves out on a platform like youtube for the world to judge gets extra points in my book.
    I am not a restorer and I am not watching for learned skills to apply to a real world product, I just enjoy someone that can take "trash" and make it a memory like this. It reminds me of my grandpa. People today throw away something like this all the time and not think twice about it. Taking pride in your craft and possession shows you can display the value of a dollar. Thanks for this.

      Danny, put in a decal on the trailer; I recommend three D's (one inside the other) For Danny's Diecast Disaster body shop; what do you think?

    Nice job, I had one of these as a kid, and it had wonky axles from the factory, I used to put my Ford A series tractor unit from the speedboat set, or my American Ford bullnoze from my fuel tanker I had. I still collect diecast, but it is mostly 1/43 scale stuff

    Opinion is very subjective. I quite liked the music. Not too loud or intrusive. Quite relaxing. Maybe a touch lower but i liked it. Nice restoration as well 👍👍

    As a 'belt-n-braces' chap I found drill / tapping the horns with m2 works well, glue's always my last resort.

    I recently bought a lot and he had one of those in it it was completely meant there was only one ship on the right hand side underneath the cab and that's about it I ended up selling it for $25 plus shipping good score for a lot that I only paid ten bucks for excellent restoration I hope to watch your show more and more good luck

      Cool yeah I scored this one in a bulk lot for about $30 including a couple of other restorable Super Kings and some other regular Matchbox.

    Fantastic Retro Futuristic Car Transporter , great job 👍. ..... l think l woukd've used some small screws and nuts to fit the hydraulic rams , but it looks fantastic !
