I really enjoyed your review, i actually pulled out all the diptyque I have this week and am wearing Tam Dao edp today. I struggle with super creamy coconut sandalwood but tam Dao is drier and greener, I really lovely. There’s some stillness in it for me
I have sample of EDT ... it belongs to the best offerings from Dyptique and was really hesitating between EDP(which i haven´t tested) and EDT ... EDT profile was fine, easily wearable thing (according to me)
Thank you... appreciate it. I still prefer Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme and Edition Blanche. Superleggera is not different enough to buy over them which makes it a redundant release
Oops.. excuse me Nithish, I thought your comment was on the Chanel video. Sorry about that. The ones I mentioned in this video are Guerlain Samsara, Chanel Bois des Iles and Frédéric Malle Dries Van Noten. Hope that helps. Cheers!
Beautiful review Brodeep. I love that creamy sandalwood thing. I still think diptyque is a nice brand. I’ve really been enjoying fleur de peau lately. Have you tried Roman wood by zegna?
Thanks Jebro🫂 Yes! I only wish we still had some natural mysore oil French perfumes. Fleur de Peau is one of the 4 from Diptyque I have. Very nice Iris/Rose/Ambrette. Never tried Roman Oud. The distribution of that Zegna line is so random
@@ScentZatura yeah it never got much hype outside of Indonesian oud and Roman wood never really got any attention. It’s cypress and a creamy cedar I think you’d like it. 🍻🫂
Thanks for the reco Jebs. I got to smell the Iris, Cardamom, Patchouli long ago but walked away as soon as I saw the prices lol. Will see if they are available somewhere after the distribution changes🍻
That is weird, I had a couple of others tell me the same with Fleur de Peau, Orpheon and L'Eau Papier. I guess it is some fixative or aroma chemical they use.
@alineonbeauty6294 Well, there's an exception. Another one was Benjoin Bohème. Even in my video some said, they don't smell much at all. Guess it's a Diptyque thing

Thank you! That sounds fun to tackle a house. I agree, Tam Dao is so effortless to wear and not stuffy at all

EDT is lovely too. I just wished I was able to smell it more on myself, or I am just going nose blind. Good stuff nonetheless. Cheers Miles!
love this review, no nonsense, no hype.
can you reply the other perfumes you mentioned in the end, that you prefer over this?

@@ScentZatura 😂 dont blame you at all for that. They used to be at discounters under 100 bucks. The iris one really connects with me though
Beautiful bottles by Diptyque !
Very nice with the artwork behind the label
actually you mentioned going nose blind with the edt, I go nose blind to many of the brand’s perfumes, how weird!

@@ScentZatura I have my fleur de peau to my sister and miss it. Funnily enough, I don’t get nose blind to that one

@@ScentZatura was that a recent bottle ? Because I smelled it in a shop recently I think it has been reformulated, it’s softer than it used to be
I go noseblind with the scented candles.
2003 over 20 years ago 😮😢
Mind-boggling.. so I said the number of years to myself 😵💫🥲
Great rewiev 😊
Thank You Dropout Gent✌🏻
Aloha, ScentZatura!
Aloha Bobcoco👋🏻
So EDP over the EDT ?
Yep, but I would take the EDT happily if you intend to gift it to me
