Breakfast in the Classroom (Findley CLC)

The Building Leadership Team at Findley CLC implemented "Breakfast in the Classroom" service for 2012-13. As a result of this new approach to school breakfast, Findley CLC is feeding 400-450 students each morning-an increase of 100+ kids each day-in a calmer, less chaotic environment. The Findley CLC staff, students and parents are happy with the results, which include reduced discipline problems, reduced visits to the school nurse, more time to eat breakfast, and students who are well-nourished and better able to behave and succeed in the classroom. As one teacher puts it, "We never want to go back to the old way!" Congratulations, Findley CLC!
