I am so glad the car is being reassembled. I hate the modern throw away culture. Large capacity Manual cars like this are really worth preserving.

@@snoopy5736 i believe that if you have a 8 or 9 year old car and you want to keep it on the long run, its best to start replacing those things while they are in stock, so the car will last longer and feel better to be inside of it 😅

This is high end repair shop not to be fooling around for others entertaining UA-cam content, time is valuable. I'd be pissed if I had to revisit a vehicle because of someone else's error just for their personal content purposes. As usual Jonny a pure professional at what he does, fixing cars right.
I'm glad the 645 will continue its manual life on the road.
Hoovie certainly had a different low tone to his voice on the phone, I guess he wasn't in character.
Man, just seeing a proper BMW being driven again. The high-quality analog dials, the big leather-wrapped wheel. Those orange LED displays were still in use in 2005?? Same were in my 1991 525i, LOL. You look at this, then watch a vid on the 2024 5-Series with fake sounds and video games on the dash and weep....
Who now wants to buy it and pay for all of this unnecessary work? I'm sure it'll be added to the price. Regardless of Tyler's madness, I'm very glad to see it put back together by 'The Man", and even better than when he took it apart. Go Jonny!

What year 6 series is the best to buy without having all the Valve smoking issues or major issue in general.?. I was thinking about buying a 2012 650i
I think Tyler should have kept this one.
The older bmws looked better, the older they were, the more drivers car they were. Newer ones: mostly hybrids and EVs.

We recently did an e39 M5 clutch here using a Luk clutch. The alignment tool did the same thing. It had to be forced into the splines.

I have a 645ci auto, and its still a blast to drive. Really underrated car, they have there issues but once they are sorted, they are fun and enjoyable cars to drive.
Hoovies new High Maintenance project is going to take a LOT of money to keep running.
Can u do a dynamic drive video? I have an e66 with a leak from the active Sway bar but no lights or warnings
Obviously Jonny doesn’t care working for that incredible irritating Hoover guy , brings in lots of cash for the car ninja.
I’ve seen on other channels the battery clutch less drills don’t have the torque to unscrew some factory bolts. Reassemble then would be less torque
Just another $500 clutch job on a BMW.

A clutch is a pretty good anti-theft device these days.

Nice car one thing though I'm very surprised that you didn't put down a paper drivers protective mat to protect the carpet from any grease etc while working on it as I noticed a lot present on the video 😢
He probably is a little less concerned being it is a mutual friends vehicle. At the same time he is not performing any work involving fluid leaks. He also keeps the shop floors meticulously clean. If it were your personal vehicle, attempt to have a mind set on what the final product is. Did you receive the car back with a clean floor mat? Then thats all that matters. Maybe he detailed it before giving back to you, but in the end it is clean.
