Tks for sharing your busy day. Math was never my strong subject in school.. now I see why.. lol. Hope you don't hit to hard with the winter storm. Be safe and looking forward to the next video
I live near Mansfield, I think we dodged a bullet on the storms. Cleveland got hit and next is Cinci but we're looking good. I've found that when I have lots to do then I get much more efficient with time management and so do you.
Yeah don't worry or stress yourself over it. you will get it done. Hopefully the weather holds out though it is looking rough for my area since we rarely get any snow so nobody knows how to drive in it.
Happy new year zoe! Sometimes you just have to take a breath! I'm sure you will get it done? Have you factored in bad weather? Saw you guys are gonna get a major snow storm out there? Good luck! Go bucks!
Definitely going to be some nasty weather but I figured I’m going to haul as much as I can either way. So I don’t want to worry myself more with setting my expectations for loads I can get in a day higher if that’s makes sense
You can use both trucks to haul the soybeans out by loading them up you can load them up at night and leave in the morning and come back and load both trucks up and take one at a time
Load two trucks and then you can haul one early in gthe morning and depending on the line you can take the second truck in right away. then come back and load two more.
Just got to take a breath and relax you will do fine just think the time you took to write on the board and do the math you could’ve had a load in lol 😆 just kidding your doing fine
Yes but it only takes 15 minutes to load so it would save a little time but not a ton! I always load the night before for the first load so it’s ready to go first thing in the
You can’t afford to have one of your helpers haul some grain? If you’re loading say 800 bushels in your trailer times say $4/ bushel corn, that’s $3200/ load…even if your helper sat in a line and could only get in 3 loads, that’s $9600..I don’t know what you pay your help, but even if you paid him $25/ hour and he ran 8 hours, that’s only $200….
Mathematician Zoe in all her ADHD splendor...that is a lot of plates up in the air...I just plan for a backyard garden...hope to do better this year...do you keep a garden for just your family, nutritional needs?
I’ve done a garden before but not a ton. We have an asparagus patch, but for the effort to grow a garden vs support my local veggie growers I prefer to just buy it 😅
My dad is not health enough to drive or get in and out of the semi. My husband is out of state for work a majority of days and otherwise in zoom meetings if he is home.
Happy New Year! Thanks for another good video Zoe. You’re strong so I know you’ll work it out!
Just plain good living and it will all get done! I enjoy your vids. Plus I used to run elevators😊

@farmwithzoekent yes it does..do you load the trucks the nite before? That way you get an early start and could get at least 2 loads in?
@farmwithzoekent are you happy with the price? I know corn and beans are down big time this year
Btw I enjoy watching your videos! Nice to see woman involved in farming!
Good luck Zoe

You buy a paint that turns into a big chalk board
We are lucky here we have a couple of places that take grain until 2:00 AM
That’s awesome!
What is your one way travel distance to each location???
I think it will work out !

Why can’t your dad or your husband haul the crops if they are on the farm
My dad is not health enough to drive or get in and out of the semi. My husband is out of state for work a majority of days and otherwise in zoom meetings if he is home.
The time you wasted explaining this you could have hauled a load
not one of your better videos.. sound like charlie browns teacher...bla bla bla bla...should be out there hauling..
Could JD load the truck while u haul so that u just swap truck and go instead of loading yourself
Could JD load the truck while u haul so that u just swap truck and go instead of loading yourself
Yep that would save me about 15 minutes a load. So on 4 loads a day it would save me an hour
When your ready to leave with a load can you call first to see how long the lines are,do these elevators have high speed unloading
