You are THE best reviewer on UA-cam!!! I hope you realise how brilliant you are. The attention to detail is unbelievable Tara. From formula to value for money. You cover it all. You have never lost your integrity which is a rare commodity on Social Media. 😘😘😘
The “lifting” of foundation and the breakdown of product with cream blushes is the precise reason I don’t own many at all. Perhaps 4 out of my 40 plus blushes are cream/liquid. So when I see brands release long lasting cream/liquid blush formulas I’m like👀lol. I might actually pick up a LM one☺️
I have many cream blushes but it wasn’t until I watched this video that I realize they do in fact lift my foundation :( and I do have lots of hyperpigmentation, coming for this LM blushes now
I never thought of that but now I realize that as Tara says, the more emollient a cream blush is, the more you can see the foundation literally melt away. The only formula that I own which doesn't do that is the Honest Beauty cream blush. Definitely a reason not to have too many cream blushes.
Ahhh, thank you so much. My hair Is straight in this video. I don't wear it straight often but I like to every once in awhile 😁❤️ Thanks for watching, I appreciate your support so much 🙏 Have a wonderful weekend my friend 🌞 🌟
I don’t have the LM blush yet, I am planning on purchasing two. I do have the Huda blush which I wear over a completely set face with zero issues. I apply the product to the back on my hand and use a brush to apply. It doesn’t matter what foundation I have underneath (sheer to medium). LA girl has new cream blush (in a tube) for $5.99 at Ulta and I like it as much if not more than all of my high end cream blushes.
The Laura blush is Gorgeous. I totally know what you mean about making your hyperpigmentation showing through. Charlotte Tilberry‘s contour wand, and glow wands both do that to me.
Hey Mary🙋♀️ I just noticed today I had a Marco from you😁 I will be checking it tomorrow. My gosh we have so much to catch up on. Miss you❤️ I'll be catching up with you tomorrow. LOVE YOU💋
Thank you Tara for yet another great review. That LM blush looks beautiful on you mayby I’ll pick one. I though that those Huda blushes seemed too emoaliant and shiny for me. Your review confirmed that. I think you should do a ranking video of your cream blushes/favorite formulas before summer.
I picked up 2 from each brand as well this is my first purchase from Laura Mercier when I swatched them they were very pigmented in which made me want to buy them. I cannot wait to try them. I love the LYS blushes as well they are absolutely amazing especially the new shade epic
I loved this review! And I love this laura mercier creme blush product, and I don't usually like creme blushes. I have this in la piscine, the lightest shade. Such a pretty and subtle yet pigmented shade of blush pink. It might just be my all time favourite blush and shade!
Initially, I thought I'd be more into the Huda, however, having seen these applied side by side, I prefer the Laura Mercier blushers. Hopefully, the LM blushers won't set and clog the nozzle as my Lisa Eldridge liquid blushers have done. I'm so disappointed in them. Fabulous vid Tara, I'm off to order a couple or so LM blushers 😊 Love to you 💞💫💞💫💞

I suppose it makes sense that the foundation becomes "see through" because the blush has similarities to cleansers you'd use to "melt" your makeup off (that's a lot of quotation marks!☺️)
@@Jen-if2it Yes. That's definitely a possibility. I just had that happen with the Nars Bronzer when i was wearing the Danessa Myricks Yummy Skin Foundation. I get lucky with the few cream blushes I have, they don’t pull my foundation up at all. I have one from Nudestix (LOVE THIS ONE), two mini Rare Beauty shades and the CT light or glow wand, and have never had an issue with my foundation. I love the staying power of them. The Rare Beauty formula is great too. Similar to this formula from LM (at least the Matte formula is, the Dewy formula has that shine, it's not emollient based but still has a little shine). Both great formulas and too be honest, if you have the matte ones from Rare Beauty, you Probably don't need these from Laura Mercier.. 😁❤️

Great comparison! Both shades look beautiful on your complexion. I apply cream blush exactly the same way. I applied Rare beauty’s liquid blush directly on my skin once, and I looked like I was ready to join the clown act at the circus 😆. It’s a pretty blush, but it packs a serious punch. That said, I will probably try the LM. I am definitely going to try the new LYS shades.

The Chantecaille is not as pigmented as the Laura Mercier Blushes. They also have a little shine to them, with some sparkle. The LM is Satin and doesn't have any shine.
