Back in July 2012 I found an amazing mix of brony music for Minecraft. 2 months earlier I had discovered the beauty of the show. But a few months later, after a fatal hard drive crash, the files were lost. I could never find the beautiful sound pack, but I've been hunting down those songs that made me love brony music ever since. This was one of those songs. I'm so glad I found it (again). :D
I'm actually pretty sad this got unlisted. As far as poni goes, this is pretty accessible to a more general audience. Hell, give it a few vocal tweaks, maybe boost some of the levels and slap a different name on it and people probably wont even notice! Then again I get why it might be here. As I've gotten older, the music I used to write back in high school sounds like trash now. I've grown in ability and taste, so my old stuff just isn't me anymore. That's just how music goes. The music you wrote 5 years ago is going to be a million times different from the music you do today; for better or for worse. I personally think its for the better. Out with the old in with the new and all that shit. But its nice to look back and think fondly of the past sometimes. Right now, I'm just remembering when I first saw that show. Damn... It was fucking fun while it lasted. But we all move on at one point or another, and my time came ones I became an accountant. The only parts of that fandom I can remember with some modicum of respect were the First few waves of music makers and a few good friends i made through community projects. The former is still what i was most proud to be a part of. Holy crap, did I vent there... Anyways, lovin the new stuff you've been doing. Keep on doing whatever it is you feel like doing and people will still be around to enjoy it.
