Because dubstep is already a sub genre of it's own, we don't need more. Just because this song has has more BPM or some faster drums doesn't mean it needs to be a whole new genre.
This is insane. I had the melody stuck in my head for so many years and I finally found this song. Man I think this still has so much potential. I just like how you wrote the melodic parts. Funny thing, I listened to this song many times on headphones and computer speakers, none of which had enough low range to play the bass that kicks in at 0:21.
Then one day I tried listening to it in a car with subwoofers. It was like a whole new level of reality had been revealed to me xD

This song just feels so emotional, the feeling of drowning the desperation of getting up before giving up as you drift down to accept your fate then realize that you can't leave others you know behind. As you try your best to get back up again and again. It hurts that he won't be making music anymore considering the incident. I grew up with his music he got me into music with his song - Time is Running Out. and I will NEVER forget that.

Well I don't know many strictly dubstep musicians, since I listen to basically all of electronica's subgenres, but there are still many brony artists who make really good electronic songs and are still in the fandom, including but not limited to: DJ Pon-3, Aviators, Echelon, Assertive Fluttershy, Archie, Blaze, Twitch, Silva Hound, Six of Lasers, ArtAttack, Icky, Neu KatalYst, SimGretina... I could go on for days.

The brigde has got to be my favorite part in this. That's just gorgeous. The melody too, with the piano. The sub's too much in places though. And there isn't really any build up either. The 'heavy' part just sort of sticks it's head in. And it's a bit out of place I think.
I think you should try making something liquid/calm stuff once. I'm really curious as to what could you do. Just a thought.
