Thanks for the vid! You're messing up holding the power button that long to turn on. You have to be patient. Press for one-two seconds then let go, it will come on within 5 seconds. Otherwise you're getting into a situation with the power button doing other things like resetting, like your phone does. Also the JBL app for your smartphone or tablet will give you much more precise control over the volume and you'll see where it is set at. You probably know all this already but your first points about the controls make it sound like they are a bad setup. The app shows exactly how many DB the controls are set to. Also when it turns red it has way more volume to go, I think it is just warning you are getting loud and it will use more like 6 hour battery life instead of 12.
If they have usb inputs to power the receiver it should work! It has a one amp and two amp input, so it should work if at least one of them draw one amp or less
if you dont see that this just copied the Bose S1 Pro then you are not a Pro music enthusiast ^_^ probably OK for buskers, Karaoke anywhere and cocktail music for a slightly lower price at 500+ usd
@@jgamysta dont be in denial, you probably defending your purchase even if its not losing or in battle. Bose S1 Pro released in January of 2018, JBL released their EON Compact Portable in October of 2019. so yeah they definitely copied Bose which Manufacturers do most the time.
@@BenJamin-ou7kd if JBL gonna copy, im sure improving something like amplification is easy to make their product one-up the original somehow. im not knocking on JBL products, i like them very much specially the high end VRX SRX or the classic JRX but im stating a fact that JBL indeed just copied this from Bose S1 PRO with minor tweaks to avoid lawsuit. This product im sure will also be copied by fake crown philippines, kevler and other low quality asia/china brands so the mass market can buy em at 1/5 the price..
