As always - interesting podcast! I would be very interested in finding out how ROI on the level of 18-24months is even possible with logistics automiation. It sounds very challenging unless you have very insufficient manual process or BC is not well calculated (e.g. not including total cost of ownership etc.).

Based on that experience, we can say that there are more use cases with an ROI below two years than one initially expects. The key is to select the right processes and to match them with reliable and accessible automation tech.

There are different types of sensors that provide the raw data SLAM systems use. Here are the key ones: Cameras, LIDAR, IMU, Ultrasonic Sensors, Radars and Encoders.
