Let me give you another juicy tip.
When you gather the boys for war, you can order them to a food chest and they will automatically eat. You don't have to individually feed them. You can also order them to a storage with arrows in it and any archers will restock.

They definitely need a call to arms where they grab food and shields etc. Once you hit 15+ villagers it becomes insane trying to get them all fed and ready to fight.
Yes! And not to mention having them form up into predetermined companies: those in front line shield walls, two handed axes (huscarls), archers etc. Well, I guess I just did mention it... 🤔
But, yeah, early access and all that.
It does exist, You can order a whole group under your command to grab food from a stockpile and weapons off the weapon rack rather than having to do it to every person seperately
When I have an expected raid that day, I switch my town to call to arms and they just grab what they need and patrol the area. Smooth so far.

I had a lot of trouble with the stag horns as well. I would imagine it ties into hunting skill. Haven’t been able to play for a while so it’s great to see you continuing. I know it’s a lot of work, but we love your videos. As always, looking forward to the next one!

The other quest that wanted deer antlers rewards you with a deer trophy.
You could have done both quests with the one set of antlers!
Royal, there's a way of "cheezing" at least the low level raids. You just need to climb on top of a stockpile and the bandits won't be able to hit you, then you can just pick them off with a bow.
I like to play the game as intended personally.

You can order your companions to loot along w you. They have their own inventory

Look at the profession tab on building. Eg Food Cellar needs an Apprentice Inkeeper to research.
Also the number on the raid is not the Tier of group like you find in the wilds its and arbitrary number representing the possible numbers, gear ect

I spoke through my doorbell microphone early this morning and started shrieking then suddenly a barrage of bird noises came as a response to my squeaking so I continued to make the Guinea pig like noises I had it all recorded me and the birds conversing back and forth alas when I went to check the footage from my doorbell cam it corrupted and deleted sadly none of my comrades will know that I spoke bird
That chicken was attached to a village, but one you did not visit before. If you kill one of a village you visited, its -10 standing. a so small hit, that i actually murder them even in the middle of the village if i come across one. if you think killing deers is a hassle, than shooting crows out of the sky makes deer hunting look like childs play.
looks great but why cant you pick up the enemies weapons?
It would be cool if they dropped some basic stuff but I think with the way progression works it would be OP af to get some of those weapons early

Don't think you addressed it in the video, were you able to complete the food cellar research? It wouldn't let me do it without having an apprentice innkeeper as opposed to needing one to run it.
Nope. Need an apprentice innkeeper, I swapped it to the new gathering hut and now I’m working on the upgraded houses

Not one crash yet
I play this game on a Nvidia 4gb 1650, so a not so great gpu and it's never crashed in over 20 hrs so far. The only issue I had which wasn't a problem to me is the loading screen took about a minute longer then I'm use to but that's no big deal.

Cant stop playing yet 3 episodes later its all over. UA-camrs make me laugh when they say certain types of games are so good yet only play for a certain amount of time and then move onto the next game saying the same thing. Its pretty obvious by now that ppl play these games only for views not because they are great games, because this game is far from good. It has very little to offer as gameplay goes, battles clunky at best and no doubt the game will be abandoned like the others from the dev. I dont get how ppl think this is a good game. You have your villagers work around the camp while you go hunt bandits, rinse and repeat. Thats about all it offers.

@@MrClarkisgod yeah this game's great, if you like survival games and wanna build a community to join you through the experience this hits the spot. It came down to this game or manor lords and I chose to play this game instead and haven't been disappointed.
Game looks good, but sadly, it's made by snail gaming, so it's probably just get love for the first year. then, like all their other games, it will be ruined by them.
The first game that pops up when I click on the dev page is Ark, I know plenty of people that love them games and never been influenced by the failures of other games. This game has been great fun so far.
the chinese publisher of this game suck they didnt finissh already 2 games OASIS MMO ... the ai in this game suck coconuts and the building system is even worse - gestion is kind of non existent and useless ... its a nightmare to play

Really enjoying the series been watching your content for a few months only just noticed I wasn't subscribed but that's now sorted. I can't agree more with the title of the video I love this game it's one of best I've played for a long time now. I've also been playing for 12+hrs a day sometimes.. it's very addictive.
I'm currently on day 102 found stacks of iron ore way down south near the brigands prison I did attempt to complete the bell tower questline around day 60 but failed miserably, those brigands hit so damn hard so I've been working on getting everyone geared up with the best I have to offer before trying again. Thanks for the great content 😁

I feel like this game would be that much better with a building system that you could make what you want with castle walls and base defense digging underground and more realistic mining . I feel like games give you one or the other I feel like if you mixed this with the crafting building mining chiseling mechanics of vintage story would make the king of all medieval survival games.
I'd recommend sending this to the devs on the steam discussion page! They're taking feedback.

Medieval version of DayZ
So I started my own journey on Bellwright and 2 1/2 days to make my first shelter as I was eaten by wolves twice then it was a whole nine days before I was raided and surprise surprise I was owned. They stole half my shit and disassembled some of my buildings but I’ll get my revenge on those bastards because now I have a bow. Thanks again for introducing me to this wonderful game. I can’t wait to keep going and see where it goes, when I’m watching you of course😂

How did you get the wheat seeds we left off when you went back to get more wheat but if was winter and you couldn't pick it?
Winter passed and I grabbed more. Wheat seeds are crafted in the thresher.

Great videos, been checking out some tips to see if anything I can find might be of help. The swampy area on the map just north of the Blackridgepool village has red berry bushes that give cranberries instead of regular berries, they give +13 Health +40 Stamina and most importantly a 30% XP BOOST!!!

This game looks super cool though! I was wondering why the combat was the same as Last Oasis (and the Rupu Pelt icon is animal fur in this game), but you mentioned it's by the same devs. Looks really deep with a ton going on, and that skill/research tree is crazy! Totally added to my wishlist because of your playthrough. Thanks Royal!

I first started watching another content creator but I got really frustrated with their failure to understand the games mechanics even when the answers were basically a giant flashing button on screen. So glad you bother to understand a game that you’re making content for!

Royal if you kill the bandits at a tier 1 camp and don’t loot the chests they will respawn every day and you can farm straps!
I can start crafting straps very soon! I was doing that previously though
@@PartiallyRoyal you have to build the tool shop and the straps take 2 copper bars per strap and take a little while to make. I would still keep a camp to farm

So when I click on the dev tab on steam I see some of the games among them are the Ark games, if these devs are so terrible they sure do have one of the biggest survival games out there. I personally don't play them but plenty of people do and enjoy them. Maybe their dead games became dead games because they were unknown games that never caught any steam and not enough people played. These days time is money and if you aren't making any then it's time to put your time into something that will. This game has been a lot of fun, I mean a lot of fun!
