Like a Pete Green inverted LP neck pick up tone, but on an acoustic! (Sounds hybrid, but in a nice way). Sassafras also the name of a really good 1970's Welsh prog rock/country band specialising in vocal and guitar harmony. Also worth checking out!
Sometimes it's also good to hear what's not so great about certain guitars, because we know that's the reality of it. We also know that some very expensive guitars just don't have the tone to justify the price.
A lot of performers use sound hole covers. So would a less expensive version and the top of the line sound pretty much the same through a PA if they use the same electronics? Just wondering why performers use these rare and very expensive vintage guitars live to only choke them and use standard electronics
The Taylor doesn't sound that bad to me. A little bit of low end, but way to much high end for my liking. I'll still take my martin d18 over this taylor. In my opinion and to my ear, my martin d18 has a much fuller, warm and well balanced sound where I can hear all notes of a chord and no notes over take the others.
Taylor's are the best out there and I've had Martin's gibsons tacts Yamaha guilds ovation fender I'll play my Taylor's and a whole lot more so if you dont like taylor dont buy one frigging democrats always telling people there opinion keep your damn opinions to your self taylor are making and experimenting with all kinds of different wood s and methods but again if you dont like them buy something else
Mark Staggs nobody telling anybody their opinion and it wasn't political. But you felt entitled to give your opinion which was useless anyway. I can say without a doubt that if someone doesn't like Taylor, they will not buy a Taylor. You only made yourself look like an angry jerk.

Real beauty! Very interesting. Thanks for these reviews. 🎵🎵🎵
It both sounds and looks really good. Nice video guys!
That sounds nice it’s unusual for me cos a Taylor usually sounds so tinkly with no bass , like a Taylor sound
Pretty impressive. Taylor, should do more guitars with sassafras.
Two V-neck sweaters with a v-brace guitar... how cool is that?

Agreed. I own it and hate it now
@@miller98lsc Sorry to hear that. Perhaps you could sell it and move on....
@@gregorycarpenter indeed.
@@miller98lscwhat didn't you like about it?
South Mississippi is loaded with large sassafrass trees! Forget overseas, get it right here. It's used for plain old firewood down here!!!
How would you compare this guitar to the 614ce with the V-class bracing?
Can you order any model Taylor and add Sunburst?
Can I get either a 314 or 414 but with sunburst?
Usually yes, best to email me for specific options and pricing.... chad@musicvilla.com

Too bad the back and sides are better looking than the front. Gorgeous guitar!
So... sassafras... If one were to stick their nose in the soundhole, does it smell like rootbeer or sassafras tea? Asking for a friend... lol
time to lose that friend. ;)
Try a Zager they are in class of their own.

Prince??
$4K for a Taylor when I can get a Martin HD-28 used for $1900, I don’t think so. It is beautiful though.

To jangly no warmth (the Taylor that is)
Taylors sound so thin and one dimensional
That's your opinion not mine and I strongly disagree with what your saying
