Great review, as always. Oh, how I miss station wagons / estates. I wish they made an AMG version. Maybe we'll get lucky with the new C-class that's coming soon.

Good review Justin. For clarification, MB EV assist is only for acceleration and not cruise therefore it is not hybrid?
You are correct, it enables better acceleration and increased coasting or gliding, for instance driving with the engine off as you approach a stop sign or traffic light.
Since the electrics cannot propel the car on their own, it's still technically a hybrid but we call it a mild hybrid.
In something like a prius, which can actually drive entirely on electric power, we'd call it a full hybrid.

Excellent review! The review said so much and provided significant content in less than 30 minutes. With that said, I am looking at the Mercedes station wagon and Audi A6 wagon which is a similar vehicle but a few thousand dollars less. I live in the US. How does this vehicle compare to the Audi A6 which is a better vehicle in your opinion, particularly for a long distance commuter and quality? This car is very expensive!! But, I would consider it if it is a good vehicle. Do you think this vehicle is better overall than the Audi A6 if you know. Also, what about frequency of maintenance and cost. Finally, would you consider the wagon over the GLE 350 or 450 4 Matic? BTW, I like your VW all terrain and cute dog!

20 years after the volvo xc70, which has more ground clearance, it's same basic theme.
Yes....I'd get one of these MB all terrains over the volvo v90. Volvo just had to go woke with a 4 banger if everything, now.
