    The weak point on the Demon drive shaft is the middle bushing that can't be changed when worn out, trust me I know. I tried the Carbon fiber drive shaft, I am currently running the aluminum driveshaft from Drive shaft shop, and I am happy with it.

    I had a 2016 Challenger it would vibrate at highway speed‘s between 75 and 80 miles an hour. With the stock driveshaft I had the tires road force balance also replace the tires took it to the dealer and I had them replace the driveshaft vibration continues. Long story short I ended up trading the Challenger for the charger hellcat I’m happy as hell thanks for the video please keep us updated.

    So is it really worth it because my center mount that supports the center of the driveshaft failed on my stock 2016 392 and I figured I would send the extra $3-400 for the better durability so I won't have to deal with this in the future but am I loosing drivability in the process of gaining durability?

    • @bmasontv
      @bmasontv  2 роки тому

      That's a tough call. Obviously the red-eye Drive Shaft won't work in your application, so it would be a 1 piece Driveshaft for you. It is my understanding that the DSs drive shaft with the CV joints on both ends is a really good peace, and may offer better drivability than the drive shafts with the U-joint.

      True that they are more prone to vibration. No, you are not guaranteed to have a vibration however you will be more likely to have a vibration if you go with a one piece driveshaft. Try this, take your car out hold it steady at about 95 miles an hour then run it up to about a hundred miles per hour and just hold it and see if you get a vibration out of that CCI driveshaft.
