DIY Aluminum Flatbed Dump-Bed Build 2021- Part 1

Fabricating an aluminum flatbed from scratch, with a Pierce dump kit. In this video I remove the old flatbed and layout the dump kit. I rough in the bed and calculate the height and trim the new bed before welding in the first support brackets on the dump kit.

I used many different thicknesses. I decked it with 3/16 and 1/8. I got another video coming out soon on this truck. Just about finished
