      You can swim underwater with your lungs all the way full. You just have to angle yourself toward the bottom a little bit so every pull pushes you back down slightly. It also depends how deep you go. If you swim below 10 feet or so, you won’t float back up nearly as fast. If you go to 12 or 15 feet deep (maybe a little more depending on body composition) you won’t float back up at all. But even in 3 feet of water, you can swim in the bottom with young lungs full.

    note that people have different levels of buoyancy due to body types and other factors so you gotta find the balance yourself, which you can do by inhaling all the way and slowly exhaling underwater until you stop floating up

    The one thing I can do in the water is sink. If I inhale deeply, I still sink. Negative buoyancy, I've been told.

    I'm learning how to sink in a pool and beaches. Saw one guy casually laying (he's like sleeping) deep underwater in a pool and it was very baffling to me. It has to do something with buoyancy right? Im a noob swimmer and still trying to learn stuff haha, I wanna lay down underwater but not breathing before going deep down is very hard for me. How do i last longer underwater without breathing?

    • @gertleroy
      @gertleroy  2 роки тому

      It's about buoyancy. They only way to stay down in a pool without weights is to exhale air. This is an advanced technique. If you're a noob swimmer I def recommend you not to try this. You should learn to swim first before you think about diving. Peace ✌️

      @@gertleroy I know how to swim, what I meant by a noob swimmer is I'm not comfortable swimming and floating in deep pools or beaches yet. I also dont know how pro swimmers like Christian Wedoy exhale their air underwater without accidentally drinking thr water in order to sink😅
      Once we go to vacation, do you have any tips to practice how to flost comfortably in deep water? I'll sub to you cuz Im deply interested to learn to become a pro swimmer (or just be decent at swimming)

      @@10_10sei if you're not comfortable swimming in deep pools then first learn to swim properly so you become comfortable. Don't do these exhalations. You're not ready for this.

    • @gertleroy

      how far you get depends on your technique and breathhold. Obviously if you take a big breath you'll be able to hold your breath longer. But then you'll have to use a weight belt.
