I really prefer the new style to the old one actually, it makes his characters look how they are meant to be, and they are taken more seriously (most of the time :/), it also makes it more believable that his guys are as messed up as they are. All in all, I think it’s perfect. And I love creepy art

The only thing that annoys me is how people mistaken many other artist's art to be copied from him when his art style is legit taking some of the most common knowledge for cartooning. Using big shapes to over exaggerate characters is not HIS own idea it was a thing far before even he started that. Sharp edges and various shapes are very important for cartooning, so it makes sense of why you may see people giving characters similar body shapes possibly as using different shapes shows personality. The real issues come in if the character looks exactly the same and way too referenced with clothing and details

Sleepykinq/Twisted Doctor has always been an inspiration toward my art and its style. It's honestly crazy and rlly nice seeing how vibrantly different his style has developed over the years. (Sure enough this development leaked into my own style changes too💀) Him going from these soft designs with lighter colors to just absolute fucking spiral of shapes and colors one day is surreal eye candy. (Not saying his old style was bland or anything, just describing the big change in it)
