Pretty much. I expected Goku to lose badly (in a fair fight, no less) then Vegeta beats Frieza in scenes where Goku and Vegeta's Namek roles are reversed, like I've seen fans show before the movie came out.
So, basically, watch the anime until Freeza reaches Earth, switch over to the movie, switch back for Tagoma, switch back to the movie, switch back for Goku's final hubris and watch the anime for the rest.

Nice one. I didn't even notice that except that this is during a fast fight so it's not noticeable. This is a glitch since they were using CGI in that one.
It was cause (implied) that his ki was down. Their durability comes with their ki. If the ki is down there bodies are just as fragile as... Maybe a little more than human. Example would be when goku was lying down on the grass with Gohan in the cell arc and krillin threw a rock at goku head. And it still hurt goku cause goku had his ki down
Rasseru true. But he mentioned that in the video why he liked how super portrayed him in base form in order for it to make sense. But I thought it made sense anyways in blue. Because back to the rock, goku was super saiyan. So I think regardless what form your in. If your ki isn't up I could walk up to even blue and punch him and he would feel it.
Nicholas Fitzgerald Maybe they decide to change this part of the animation during the realisation of the anime's episode. And yeah, it's a little bit acceptable... But Goddamn, the SSB beaten by a laser... that makes lose a such of credibility
***** in dragon ball there was an episode where someone said his ki is so massive it's visible. Just cause the animations don't show the ki. Doesn't mean it's not there.
Why don't they use the same fighting scenes of Movie in the Anime and add more scenes of Character development with better Animation. It would Save their Money and not getting any Hates for bad Animation. Perfect Idea isn't it?
@@evolveaxsym9422 Nah because there was no point in watching the first 2 arcs bc we already watched the movie. It would've been fine if they just never made the movies and then put what was in the movie for the anime. When DBS first aired I skipped pretty much all of ROF and BOG and just watched the main fights
I disagree with 1 thing - Goku is portrayed worse in the anime. And I'm not just talking about RoF Arc., but overall - he is annoyingly stupid. His IQ has lowered down since Buu Arc.
if you're used to the English dun of this I understand your point. the English version of goku is quite different to the Japanese original. once the English comes back out we can see how it feels then.
In anime, the characters are made stupid to ease the seriousness of the situation a bit or just be plain funny(ish) like Toriko, Luffy, Goku etc. but what Super does is carries it too far. In DB and DBz, Goku was always a laid back and kinda stupid guy but when it was time to get serious, he got serious. Hell, even GT got this right but in Super, Goku's just a trigger happy dumbass who doesn't know time or place. Best example? : take Hercule (Mr. Satan). Goku knew that he was weak as hell (no pun intended) in Z but in Super, Manoka is the Hercule here and even though Goku couldn't sense his Ki and when they fought, he even saw Beerus' (/Bills') Ki and hands and tail (probably) he still couldn't make the connection. Its like they're trying to do TFS Goku but failing miserably.
Goku has never been the smartest pee in the pod anyway. The japanese version (from what I can remember of Z) has always been a fight loving goofball who's great at coming up with on-the-fly battle plans. The english version says things like "sword of injustice (LOL)" in his monologues, but is still a few pieces short of a full set. His decision making in the Buu arc was actually pretty bad as well. He left the fate of the world in the hands of two inexperienced children. He taught them fusion and all, but their capacity to goof around instead of finish fights should've been expected. He probably could've finished off Fat Buu in SSJ3 as well, hell he likely could've prevented all of this by just killing Babidi's henchman alongside Vegeta and bludgeoning Babidi himself too like Future Trunks did in Super, instead of letting a rusty Gohan go and stalemate Dabura. Or they could've just blown up the spaceship, Babidi actually commented on that (in the dub at least). Dabura was Babidi's strongest, and he couldn't have done anything about it since he he didn't even outright beat Gohan, and Vegeta+ Goku outclassed him at that moment.
Res of F and Battle of Gods had much better scenes in my opinion. I like how Super let us see some extra stuff though like how Vegeta went to Whis to ask for training.
Oh that's good, also I think Super's version of Res of F would have been just fine if they made Vegeta and Goku's fight with Frieza as awesome and acceptable as the movie. When Goku did Bruce Lee's 1 inch and when Vegeta hit Frieza in the stomach he looked like he was in great pain. But I'm glad they're fixing it.
omg, you know how saiyans get more powerful after a near death experience? Could you imagine how crazy fucking powerful he would become if Turles had trained with frieza instead? to have frieza nearly kill him every single day for 4 months, it's a win win! and then after 4 months they both take a bite of the fruit from the tree of might. gg universe.
But everytime he gets beaten the shit out of him he will get stronger but day by day he wont be affected by frieza's attacks and frieza might kill him from fear that he will overpower him
Resurrection of F' looked incredible, but I really didn't like it. Frieza felt like he was losing the entire time. It never felt like he had the upper hand with the exception of that cheap trick he pulled on Goku when he had his subordinate shoot him. And whether or not Goku had lost, Frieza would have lost either way because he still had to get through Vegeta. It's like when he came back in GT. He wasn't up to par with Goku. Not only that but the fact that he could just blow up the planet just by smashing his hands against it was kind of silly. What was the point of the fight if he could have just done that? And the ending was just obvious, especially when he blew up the planet: "Whis: It''s OK, I can turn back time". Oh...that's cool. I guess there's no consequences at all then? :|
dude he never did. frieza rushed over as soon as he obtained his golden form which his body was unable to adapt to. i dislike the anime version of res f because alot of reasons.
frieza pulled a cheap trick of blowing up the planet because he could survive it. also it doesn't take much to blow up the earth if its focused on the core.
Zer0 The assassin I just feel like as a movie...it was really...underwhelming. There was no tension. Maybe if it was Cell or Buu or maybe one of the three fused somehow with the other or something it could have worked maybe? I don't know. Frieza never had the upper hand and as a result I never felt worried so I was just bored. I'm still going to watch Super at some point even if I end up not liking it.
I feel the same way, they shouldn't have brought Freeza, the most iconic DBZ villain of them all, back from the dead & give him a new, allegedly more powerful form if he wasn't gonna stand even a CHANCE of defeating Goku, let alone Vegeta, a character who exists entirely to be an asshole before getting his butt kicked so Goku can then save the day. The movie was just so tensionless...I haven't watched DB Super yet so I don't know if they corrected that mistake & made Freeza a worthy foe again, but I do know the movie was a major disappointment for me since we were never led to believe that Goku had any sort of challenge or uphill battle to fight against the new & "improved" Freeza. Heck, its even more insulting that some random flunky we don't care about was able to mortally wound Goku while Freeza himself could not, whats so special about being a "Super Saiyan God" when some nobody with a laser gun can kill you so easily? By that logic someone could have sniped & killed Freeza years ago long before Goku ever went Super Saiyan. If they're gonna keep milking Dragonball for more money, they could at LEAST try to give the characters the respect they deserve & write stories that are actually GOOD. Its just disappointing to me, unless you're a diehard, over the top Goku fan who just want to see him kick all the asses and save the day without any effort or challenge whatsoever, there is literally no point to watching Resurrection F, especially if you're a Freeza fan who was hoping for the rematch of the century.
warriorking4ever That sums up the movie pretty well. I was pretty damn bored because of the entire lack of tension. Golden Frieza is just a silly name, too. Couldn't they have called it like...I dunno Guilded Frieza or some bs? It sounds stupid but anything's better than Golden. I also still really hate that Whis can just turn back time. Even if the fight was good that would still ruin the movie.
@@midsectionmark8956 more like just miss and miss show, there's barely any hits all the transformations are ass and boring, and all the arcs are unintense besides goku black but even then that was a whole nother timeline
"It was close, but the anime did it MUCH better" This makes no sense. It's either close, or it's much better. Two things can't be close in quality, if one thing dos it much better.
and how is ginyu with that type of strength in 4 months... before he couldnt evem take kaio goku now hes taking on gohan... it doesnt matter how weak gohan has got. he shouldve beat him witout ssj
@@bobhondacivic8205 but he needs time to get used of the body... gohan didn't practice for 7 years on DBZ and still can get into SSJ2, dbsuper is 3 YEARS after DBZ...
I'm sad that this is the last arc vs. movie video, but hopefully next time you can do something like Champa tournament vs The world martial arts tournament. Especially seeing as Hit is basically just Tien 2.0
I can see the similarities but overall they are different charcters. Hit is a mysterious ancient hitman whereas Tien was more of a wanderer assassin, their personalities are also quite different.
they really arent that different. they're both mysterious assasins, they both abandon the trade after fighting goku, they both vow to become stronger afterwards and they dont have hair (that last one literally does not matter at all I just think its funny)
No mention of the fact that the anime [completely removed] REDUCED THE SIGNIFICANCE OF the fight between the Z fighters and Frieza's army? Nor how the anime turned Krillin into a coward?
+Armin Math City such an angry kid. Go rewatch the movie and tell me the fight wasn't almost entirely cut from the anime. That said, does your mommy know the sort of comments you're leaving online?
+tightlypackedcoil You must be one of those stupid fucks that eats his own shit. There's plenty of scenes with them fighting the shitty Frieza army, bunch of weak shitbags that probably look like you that's why you're fucking upset. Get fucked more

+tightlypackedcoil Nice job citing Wikipedia, a fucking website that anyone including stupid fucks like you can edit. Glad to know you are dumb enough to use it, made my day LMFAO.
if you want to get technical, Vegeta is neither prince or king. Seeing as the monarchy has falling amongst the saiyans. My feelings towards the subject have always been that he has kept the monicker as a tribute to his race. The real reason he persists in being called that I imagine is due to the marketing team behind dragon ball thinking it sounds cool. which it does.
No one ever lets the Princes or Kings become Kings if their society crumbles ... and it's not like Vegeta has a group of followers ... At the start of Z they did follow him like a King, but his title as Prince of all Sayajins just sticks better marketing wise as compared to ... I AM NOW KING VAEGETTA OVER AND OVER AND OVER .... Prince will always leave that amazing ... WHAT IF?? where King simply excludes the anticipation factor .... GREAT VID, and Great Ideas ...
Vegeta is dumb, he is just stupid. just like everyone else in this show. no one is olding him back from resurecting his race with the f*cking dragon balls and become King. It's this kind of story I was expecting for him in dbs. But no, all his character developpement got thrown at the window, and now he wants to surpass kakarotto again. (that's fucking annoying and stupid) They just wanna use him as a punching ball for villain.
Blaz MV "Resurrect his race" He hasn't given a fuck about resurrecting them for a long time now, he knows they're a bunch of dumbass savages. He cares about his family now. "he wants to surpass Goku again" He never stopped wanting to surpass him, he just admitted that Goku was better. Surpassing normally includes the person being ahead of you.
That's not my question when it comes to the animation; my question is why can't they make it at least as good as original Dragon Ball animation, let alone the Dragon Ball Z anime animation.
YES!! From the start I was hoping you would suggest the Super Cut, because it really is the best way to watch this story and I do feel like it deserves much more attention! So thank you so much!
An awesome analysis! But i have to disagree on the Round 3. It is true that Vegeta's story is better in Super, but i don't think that they have done a better Goku. I don't know, but DB Super's Goku looks kinda of... stupid and childish. He went from being a brave warrior with a pure heart, to be a guy who just wants to fight with everybody, good or evil, without even thinking about consequences. Leaving that out, you did an awesome analysis.
I think he was just comparing the movie with the corresponding anime episodes not the whole series. We don't really see that goku till later on. But yes i agree unfortunately... Goku used to be the guy who stands up to the stronger enemy for morals/values, protect loved ones etc... now it just looks its a big game with him goofing off and not taking anything serious :l just looking for the next challenge.
The story was SO bad in my opinion! At no point did Goku and Vegeta really struggle against Frieza. During bdz all the main villains (frieza, cell, buu) where HUGE threat to even the strongest good guys. But this cool return of Fieza was really dissapointing to me, when he stood no chance vs Goku or Vegeta at any point. The Best thing they could do in Dragon Ball Super would be to remove Goku and Vegeta from it. They are just too overpowered at this point to be interresting.
U can't just kill off the main character of a franchise like dragon ball it would ruin the watch rate of the series and their merchandise sales would go down, then their budget would follow
Yes there is need to kill them, they are too op. In fact, every dbs movie follows the same thing. They are so strong they wemt against broly, and when they started to notice how strong broly was, they fused and absolutly f***** broly. Same with beerus, with zamasu, and frieza twice. I think that the other villains are better, specially cell because he was much much stronger than goku and vegeta and at that time fusion didnt exist, so there where no bs wins. Id love to see gohan stronger again and goku or vegeta killed. It would make it more interesting.
12:11 the only thing that didn't make sense was the moment after Whis rewinded time! in Both anime and movie. Frieza still could have easily destroyed earth. Cause the rewind ended mere second's before Frieza did his move and those second's where still wasted to a certain degree. The only explanation (that barely makes sense but at least a little) is that Frieza got distracted/startled by Goku's sudden Scream heavily.
Yeah, the weird thing in the movie is that Frieza thrusted his hands into the ground, which was when he pulsed his energy that destroyed the planet. The second time around, he did the full pulse, but he didn't release any energy...? Goku's scream was half a second late. Chalk it up to sloppy dramatic tension.
I generally dislike dragon ball youtube videos because they are usually just rants and personal opinions on hypothesis and other crap nobody cares about. People seem to think of youtube as a soap box on which to stand and voice their mundane thoughts in their heads. Not your videos. You give the most in depth analysis of this cartoon that i've seen, and it's actually very interesting stuff. Also, your awesome accent doesn't hurt. So thanks for doing these, and keep up the great work.
So basically, Res F arc had better story and character development, but the movie looked better and had badass fight scenes. I preferred the movie tbh.
My main line for dragon ball super “ the stakes have never been lower” nothing matters anymore, they can just ask gods to fix ANY problem they encounter
Recently on youtube someone has been editing dbs to be more like dbz and I really like what they've done. The falconer music works really well with dbs and gives a whole new feel. I think so far it's only the goku black arc and tournament of power. Each are around 2 hours long because of how much filler is cut and these are my favorite versions of the arcs.
I agree with all of your points, another great video, while I didn't like that arc in the story, one thing the anime absolutely did better was the climatic finalle, Vegita kicking Friezas' ass was much more satisfying, the destruction of the Earth was more impactfull, and the consequences of it.
personally, I don't like Dragonball super at all I mean I enjoyed the movie but everything else is just a slap in the face. To me dragonball has been in a decline since buu saga. like all it focuses on is Goku and Vegeta, what about all the other Z fighters where has been their chance to shine? Even gohan the most powerful non-fusion character has been reduced to cannon fotter, "But but they were fighting freezas men" And? I wanna see them in battle where they cant win but they do more then just sit around as cheerleaders. Remember when they were fighting freeza or when Tien was able to put Cell in time out? I don't wanna feel like I know whats gonna happen every single fight its like "Oh another bad guy. Hmm I wonder if it will be goku or vegeta who kills him this time" I wanna see the lesser character have there time to shine I wanna see krillen/yamcha/tien/picolo team up and fight someone. I wanna see the fear in everyones eyes when the half sayian come with god like power and MLG rekt everything. They have backed them selfs in a corner with this God stuff and theres no way out and it really pisses me off. I think Super is WORSE then GT at this point in time and thats coming from someone who hates GT
How are theses non sayian characters supposed to even get that strong? Do you see how strong the characters in DBZ are at the moments? If you're not on god level then what use are you? NOT even goku or vegeta right now can beat goku (nor could they beat hit) so how in tf are theses characters that have been weak since day one and have never been stronger than any key villain supposed to help? Gotenks tried against copy vegeta and he dropped his ass. That's probably as strong as you're getting (outside of future trunks) for a sayian that's not on God level rn. Now I'm sure everyone would want to see theses characters be able to do things like put cell down for a few moments (tien), and beat the shit outta super buu (gohan). But they just can't and won't get to the level of theses two again (tien wasn't there in the first place). Didn't happen in GT and won't happen in super. Why? Because you have to have villains get stronger for tension, they can't stay as strong as cell, super buu, Freiza etc. they have to challenge our main characters, and force them to do something different. That's where ssb kioken comes in, a technique we've never seen. It forced goku to do something to win since that opponent was so strong. That's why it's like this, sorry but that's just how it is.
Ehhhh idk about it being worse than GT. Granted I did enjoy GT, maybe not the dragon ball hunt cause that was just lame lol. But when the general rildo/baby arc came into play, that's when I started liking it. Now honestly I believe that the whole future trunks/black goku arc is where super is vastly becoming better than GT. I mean this arc personally has had me on my toes like Dbz did. The previous arcs not so much but then again 2 of those arc were the movies lol.
I agree. They forced this God power stuff. I liked GT more tbh. I wish they dk more with gohan too. Since they're doing stuff with trunks , make gohan fight too
Dude, You Haaaaaave To Do That Video You Talk About In The Beginning About Anime Production Schedules And The Differences Between How These Things Come Out. It’s Such An Underrepresented Topic In Anime. You’re On To Something.
Bruh I didn't even know this movie existed until I saw this video. Then I paused it, watched the movie, and came back for this video. And I've gotta say, I prefer the movie. Animation was better and it was generally more streamlined (no more Captain Ginyu, ect.).
This video was a bit unnecessary imo, because it's extremely obvious that the anime format was either rushed or they just didn't bother paying a decent animation team. The first two arcs (aka BoG & RoF) both didn't need an anime format. The anime versions are unnecessarily slow, packed with even slower moments to fill it up. Also I personally didn't think that the small changes they made added something new to the story. When I watched Goku vs Beerus in the anime format I really got annoyed with how slow it was. I watched it for 10 minutes but could't stand it any longer. Same with Goku vs Frieza in the RoF arc, way to slow too obviously filled up with bs. The Future Trunks arc however is 1000% better story&animation-wise. I also recommend any friends of mine that ask about Dragon Ball Super to simply skip the first two story arcs and watch the movies. Not worth the time in anime format.
Resurrection F > Super Not really a fan of movie adaptations because they're shorter compared to an entire arc but I must say that the plot, ost and animation just annihilates the Super version.
Hi, did you know if there is somewhere where I can download the subtitles but in another language of the "Super Cut version" of @ajay?, like in Spanish
The reason Frieza was really never winning was frieza rushed over as soon as he obtained that form and didn't train in it and get used to it, as Vegeta and Goku did. Goku explained that during the fight
I don't know if you remember that scene from old dragonball where after training to be in a constant state of super saiyan Goku and Gohan are relaxing with Krillin, and Krillin is all like "I bet goku's senses are amazing now!" and he chucks a rock at Goku, and Goku IN SUPER SAIYAN FORM gets hurt by the rock and is in pain. or that other moment in Babidi's lair where Goku hits his shin on a rock because it's dark. If not focusing energy on defense, they can get hurt by such things.
I remember the scene well. It sort of makes sense but I mean even when not "concentrating on defence" you have to imagine that they would be just beyond bulletproof to almost everything, figuratively and literally
Ever since the new movies and DBS hit the air I noticed something very strange going on with the lore. "powerlevels are bullshit" they say, but that doesn't explain anyhow how all the fighters and their potential of power are all over the place. If Goku's base form is now equally powerful to Super Sayen God (with red hair), why does he still transform into regular super-sayen? Is it not step back? And if it is upgrate, how does he still not surpass Beerus and Whis? Didn't Beerus said he was using 60% power to defeat base form Goku? And didn't writers said Whis is about twice as powerful as Beerus? So if Goku can go into Super Sayen 2 and 3 and it is NOT a step back, but improvement, why is he still not surpassing them? And then we have super-sayen blue. Well in that form he is STILL not on the level of Beerus, and then he goes into Kaio-Ken x 10?!??!?! And Beerus still says he is no match for him? You see my point? It doesn't make any freakin sens whatsoever. If base form Goku = 6/10 of Beerus then how SS2 Goku < Beerus SS3 Goku < Beerus SS Blue Goku < Beerus SS Blue Goku Kaio Ken x 10 < Beerus Logic!?!??! And it's just about Goku's power levels making no sens anymore, what about Vegeta, Hit, Whis, and everyone else? The same things are happening to them. Nothing makes sens anymore, anyone can suddenly fight on the level of anyone in an instant, no explanation is given. It's like the writers can't even keep track on their own shit!
Mateusz Tur beerus used 60% against ssg goku who when he absorbed its power can now basically become equal with the form when he goes super saiyan. Ssb is the God essence combined with a super saiyan which while not powerful enough to beat beerus one on one, could beat him with both vegeta and goku working together. remember with the kaioken beerus was actually stunned at how powerful he became and only said that due to beerus being very confident in his powers. until they fight against each other we have no idea who would win in that fight. And the other forms have been abandoned due ssb existing and are only there because goku holds back a lot. Hit was only strong due to his time stop and assassination techniques. If he didn't have those he wouldn't of put up a fight against goku. Also in the manga they state that the blue form takes a shit ton of stamina so if you use it multiple times it'll actually end up weaker than the original ssg, which is how vegeta got absolutely dominated by Hit. And whis is just whis, we have no idea what he's capable of yet so we can't make an accurate assumption.
Jack Bacon this may be late but you guys forget, if goku wanted to destroy a planet he have to transform and power up to do it, beerus destroys planets effortlessly and the way he destroyed zamasu without trying shows how much more powerful he is, hell he even destroyed a ghost that no one could touch and the only form goku has stronger than SSG is SSB, not his base form or the super saiyan levels so I would say full power SSB against beerus would make him use a little more than 70% or 75% of his power
Anime and the movie have both good scenes. Having more details being told through anime while the visual fight scenes are better from the movie. When it came to the secondary characters, I like it how Ginyu came back before being vaporized by Vegeta, or how Gohan was getting shot at and was able to power up enough for Goku to sense it to come back and save him at the last moment. The movie version of the fight scenes were spot on and nothing to complain except less dialogue which I guess makes sense where you can't talk while fighting.
Surprised there wasn't mention of the Z warriors fight. The anime did a great job with that in regards to adding in Gotenks, and showing the Frieza and Krillin interaction.
The only comment I'll make is that they're 80s really .... only 90s by US timeliness... so excellent for the times .... I was surprised to know Both dragonball and DBZ were in 80s. Far beyond almost any other at the time
in a lot of cases. DBS really just makes the worst out of what can be called "modern" and puts it on display. Oversaturated, wierd glossy rubbery look complete with sticker outlines around characters. That's the poor animation quality being shown today. Back in the 80's/90's times or filler episode stuff from original naruto to now (or older, etc) showed loss of color, character models quite off, etc. This is also something super does. It seems like the 2000's was when everything was generally looking cleaner and more well done as a whole. But Buu Saga animation wipes the floor with DBS, heck most times so does anything Z and even most of original dragonball. Let's just say they totally dropped the ball for DBS, cause clearly shows like Hero Academia don't look like a stick figure disaster.
the base 1.3 million power level Freeza mentioned was just an estimate he made. Think about it, Freeza himself admitted he never trained before. He couldn't truly fathom his potential. Thus his surprise, and ecstasy, at his training results. Never mind the plot itself.
Does anyone think that Vegeta should have killed frieza to somewhat give him closure or am I the only person that think that???
Allen Iverson the Goat yeah I think vegeta should've killed him
ofc! Vegeta needs his revenge because of what freeza did to the sayians
Allen Iverson the Goat me
Pretty much. I expected Goku to lose badly (in a fair fight, no less) then Vegeta beats Frieza in scenes where Goku and Vegeta's Namek roles are reversed, like I've seen fans show before the movie came out.
gunswordfist exactly
The Anime gives closure to the whole Ginyu-Frog thing. That has bothered me for YEARS
***** Maybe instead of Shu using the second wish for money, Frieza resurrects Ginyu who then just appears as a frog. Or they leave it out
@Skye Izumi y-yeah about that.....
@Calvin Schuster yeah :
Skye Izumi oh how this has aged
Technically he should be dead, given how he had no way to get off of Namek before it exploded.
So, basically, watch the anime until Freeza reaches Earth, switch over to the movie, switch back for Tagoma, switch back to the movie, switch back for Goku's final hubris and watch the anime for the rest.
In short

Dragonball super has finally done it, an anime where the filler is better than the actual story
I think the reason is that in this case the "actual story" was the filler.
That is actually really sad when you think about it.
M3rtyville no really

Its okay, but can you try find another copyright free music? There has to be something, which is not so irritating.
If you don't mind my asking, why do you pronounce Vegeta as Vecheetah? Not trying to be mean or anything, just curious.
0:07 Goku's boot isn't even connected with the rest of his body 😂😂😂
Nice one. I didn't even notice that except that this is during a fast fight so it's not noticeable. This is a glitch since they were using CGI in that one.
Yeah his whole body is messed up
LMFAO
to make it look like he's moving fast idk
OMFG that's is soooooo badly animated!
The only thing I understood is that SSB Goku has been knockout by a laser bim... A ridiculous laser.
It was cause (implied) that his ki was down. Their durability comes with their ki. If the ki is down there bodies are just as fragile as... Maybe a little more than human. I'm disappointed af

Maybe they decide to change this part of the animation during the realisation of the anime's episode.
I honestly liked the way the anime handled Frieza's Revival much better entirely.
Not the fight sequence though
you must be a totally crazy man, the OAV is like a billion time better but well as always, you will always find somebody to contradict the obvious
Why don't they use the same fighting scenes of Movie in the Anime and add more scenes of Character development with better Animation.
It would Save their Money and not getting any Hates for bad Animation.
Perfect Idea isn't it?
cause they cant
it would in fact give them even more hate and make the fans accuse them of being even lazier
@@ICTON123 so they are lazy because they work smarter and not harder? Toxic ass fanbases ruining these anime fr.
@@evolveaxsym9422 Nah because there was no point in watching the first 2 arcs bc we already watched the movie. It would've been fine if they just never made the movies and then put what was in the movie for the anime. Ethan Cheong - Do I look black in my profile picture? You dumb fuck. And yes, I live in Dubai and I'm racist as fuck.
NorthernMonkey You look skinny, kind of white and racist as fuck
I disagree with 1 thing - Goku is portrayed worse in the anime. And I'm not just talking about RoF Arc., but overall - he is annoyingly stupid. His IQ has lowered down since Buu Arc.
if you're used to the English dun of this I understand your point. the English version of goku is quite different to the Japanese original. once the English comes back out we can see how it feels then.
That's how goku is stupid
True
But the fact that Tagoma was left alive in Super just so that he could be more awesome and sadistic was a good choice as well.
i just want to say there fixing the animation for the dvd release
Oh that's good, also I think Super's version of Res of F would have been just fine if they made Vegeta and Goku's fight with Frieza as awesome and acceptable as the movie. When Goku did Bruce Lee's 1 inch and when Vegeta hit Frieza in the stomach he looked like he was in great pain. But I'm glad they're fixing it.
yea me too
gdhhdnd
omg, you know how saiyans get more powerful after a near death experience? Could you imagine how crazy fucking powerful he would become if Turles had trained with frieza instead? to have frieza nearly kill him every single day for 4 months, it's a win win! and then after 4 months they both take a bite of the fruit from the tree of might. gg universe.
But everytime he gets beaten the shit out of him he will get stronger but day by day he wont be affected by frieza's attacks and frieza might kill him from fear that he will overpower him
omg imagine if turles wasnt stupid and ate more than one fruit.

RESURRECTION F is a movie ... and they got enough time to work on it +more animators+more money.
weekly series is not as much.
like comparing the anime to the movie in term of quality is just STUPID
Makes sense unless it's from a narrative stand point
The movie is still an anime, you know.

Can we get this out..Vegeta is a F******* KING. His dad is dead-- he is the successor, he's not the prince of all saiyans..the the bloody king!!
if you want to get technical, Vegeta is neither prince or king. Seeing as the monarchy has falling amongst the saiyans. My feelings towards the subject have always been that he has kept the monicker as a tribute to his race. The real reason he persists in being called that I imagine is due to the marketing team behind dragon ball thinking it sounds cool. which it does.
Toriyama has said that Vegeta keeps his title as prince out of respect for his father.
(that's fucking annoying and stupid)
They just wanna use him as a punching ball for villain.

Goku is always stupid and childish, he sucks
I think he was just comparing the movie with the corresponding anime episodes not the whole series. We don't really see that goku till later on. But yes i agree unfortunately... Goku used to be the guy who stands up to the stronger enemy for morals/values, protect loved ones etc... now it just looks its a big game with him goofing off and not taking anything serious :l just looking for the next challenge.
I like stupid Goku he is funny
Goku does not “suck”, you just don’t like him.
Just kill off Goku and Vegeta! That would make Dragon Ball great like it used to be!
Ora you bdz instead of DBZ
U can't just kill off the main character of a franchise like dragon ball it would ruin the watch rate of the series and their merchandise sales would go down, then their budget would follow
No need to kill them, just keep them training with whis unaware of Frieza's return. Let the Z-Fighters take care of all of it
Yes there is need to kill them, they are too op.
That TFS Frieza ringtone at "story" made me laugh
ua-cam.com/video/trT-QaYV4NM/v-deo.html
lmao that actually happens to be the main theme of the Resurrection F movie. small world
12:11 the only thing that didn't make sense was the moment after Whis rewinded time! in Both anime and movie.

I thought Goku new about Freeza's weakening state b4 Vegeta brought it up?
He did in the movie, but not Super if I remember correctly.
Which, thinking on it doesn't make much sense. Frieza has the same problem as when they first fought. Goku should remember that.
Goku has a very bad case of CRS.
Vacheeetah cheeetah cheeetah!

There's A Bonus Clip Of Goku Trying His Hand At Professional Baseball I Wonder How Goku Did
How are theses non sayian characters supposed to even get that strong?
Since they're doing stuff with trunks , make gohan fight too
Yeah the Black Goku and Zamasu arc is incredible for me I'm constantly anticipating the the next episode to know what's gonna happen.

I hate how people judge fight scenes on just their power levels but not the struggles of the fight just like the "radditz" fight
hes not talking about the raditz fight, hes comparing whis and raditz's powerlevels.
I like the animation of z the most out of everything
Hey 4 years later I dont think you watched it cause he explains scheduling being a issue with anime as a whole and how it affected the anime aspect
thanks for linking to the supercut I'm looking forward to watching it
Goku and Vegeta both noticed Frieza was tired during the RoF fight, not only Vegeta.
Resurrection F > Super
Not really a fan of movie adaptations because they're shorter compared to an entire arc but I must say that the plot, ost and animation just annihilates the Super version.

Soundwave Superior Lasers and bullets are VERY different things.

Your music makes me want to watch a guy ranting about Destiny for 2 hours
Yeah more breakdowns and comparisons
If base form Goku = 6/10 of Beerus then how
SS2 Goku < Beerus
SS3 Goku < Beerus
SS Blue Goku < Beerus
SS Blue Goku Kaio Ken x 10 < Beerus
Logic!?!??!
Did he say that in the movie or the anime?
the base form inst strong like ssg he just absorb the ki not the power
And whis is just whis, we have no idea what he's capable of yet so we can't make an accurate assumption.
true
Jack Bacon this may be late but you guys forget, if goku wanted to destroy a planet he have to transform and power up to do it, beerus destroys planets effortlessly and the way he destroyed zamasu without trying shows how much more powerful he is, hell he even destroyed a ghost that no one could touch and the only form goku has stronger than SSG is SSB, not his base form or the super saiyan levels so I would say full power SSB against beerus would make him use a little more than 70% or 75% of his power
Vecheeta...?
THE MOST AMAZING THING ABOUT GOKU AND VEGETA TRAINING WITH WHIS IS WHEN WHIS STEP ON POOP!! HAHAHA!! THAT WAS SO FUNNY!!!
90s animation better than 2016 animation and art ????????
some times
well nowadays alot of shows are computerised as its cheaper
Well, sometimes. Almost all the time if you're referring to the first 2 arc.
"I Hate Everything" called, he wants his music back.
the base 1.3 million power level Freeza mentioned was just an estimate he made. Think about it, Freeza himself admitted he never trained before. He couldn't truly fathom his potential. Thus his surprise, and ecstasy, at his training results. Never mind the plot itself.
Mark's video quality has gotten better but it was always good
Vegeta should have been the one to kill Frieza, he deserved that right so much more.
Why can't people just have there own opinions over something so little it doesn't even matter, but I prefer the Movie over the arc
movie is way better hands down.
the another pic had me going!! I loved Another but it was sooo Gorey and dark but the story was interesting!
Great video, I'm hyped to watch the movie now. Is there an English Dub version of the Super Cut as well?
