Hey guys! Sorry for not making this exactly 2 hours long. I just got home from long drive and wanted to stay consistent with uploads so I recorded long into the night. I am also not super thrilled by this video. This is not my best work, and next time I will record for an hour take and break and record the next hour. I think that will help make a better video. Hope you enjoy it none the less.

Hey Apollo! About 50 min in you were talking about not being able to do anything about security! If you go into walk around town and take out the gangs in the alleyways it'll gain a bunch of relations with the regular notables you'll lose relations with the gang leaders (who cares), but it'll also boost your security!
You kinda have to micro the towns right away. Set up the building process, and then when town loyalty gets to low, switch it back from building to loyalty, and then switch it back when loyalty gets high enough. It’s kind of a pain, but once you get enough built it will be self sufficient.
How low till I stop building?
30-35 I believe. It’s been awhile so I’m not 100% sure though.
Eventually the “days to completion” gets so high around 28-32 ish loyalty that you can switch it back and leave it for a while to build back up. 👍🏼 good suggestion Rupert

You should add the improved garrison mod. Not only do they recruit troops for the garrison but also they will be upgraded to whatever troop you choose them to train to. Love your videos and I can’t wait for more!

Actually triggering when a 900 army comes into the screen and then turns towards your army and you literally watch them head towards you and go "i think they might be coming to me..." no shit

You need to get individual Vlandian lords more often and focus on getting archers for the city. Also, send your wife to form her own army and donate recruits to battanian cities and castles for influence
Good vid Apollo. The quests, especially the caravan were beneficial and showed more depth to the game. Can't wait til the next one.
Really liked how you leveled up your troops in peace time with those quests. Sets you up good for war times
And do also the quests of the villages to gain relations , that helps to recruit more

With the Spy Among Us quest, there is generally 3-4 contenders you must check.
They're spread out across the town, there was more elsewhere in the city. Using TAB is easiest way to find them as you discovered lol
Otherwise you did the quest correctly, although if you ask to many people for info the game will fail the quest because you were too sus.

In my game Battania broke into 3 difference kingdom with diplo mod. Goodluck with your Battania run.
Apollo, sometimes it's best to rush into a siege before building any equipment. Then telling all infantry to charge in loose formation. The siege equipment slows your attack leaving your forces open to arrow and catapult fire. Always works for me as a tactic 👍
Man this series has been the main motivation for me this week, and coming home from a long day a school and getting to watch this is amazing.

Hey Apollo, there's a way to 'eradicate' gangs in your city and replacing the leader with a companion of your own with high banditry. They give you a set amount of gold per day depending on the level of your companion.
As long as there is a territorial gain, it will be an excellent episode in the end, although it was interesting to see the missions and I think the Caravan mission is ideal for improving units (although in the end your carelessness of not having food made you lose a lot of the troop you leveled up). However, you should be recruiting troops for the garrison of your new city, before focusing on replenishing the numbers of your army with veterans. XD
Try and get the likes up to 3k boys. I know that we can do it! 🏰⚔️

Vilandia was smart for circling that castle it protects the most direct path to the heart of they’re lands if he holds it then you have to go to the far north east path with another castle in the way or go around the southern mountain through the empire
When you lose control of the siege, that means the king is in the other army and they take your siege, castle/town and renown

Caravan missions is the best wen you have an army of new recruits
Gotta love the XP and loot/money that comes from the escort caravan. In early game they are great boosters and you end up getting to visit a lot of cities you would anyway and do tournaments while you are there.
If you build fair grounds you gain more loyalty. The city can’t rebel on you too if you remain inside the city. But it takes forever if your engineer skill is not high.
38:55 Geeezzzz Apollo can be slow at times lol. Watching 1k men marching right at him doing nothing. Also ran out of food and got a notification like 5 min before still went for siege. Bruhh.....

Try to leave some medium in the garrison of your town, then recruit new units and fine caravan missions to lvl up

9:20 Unfortunately only half a glitch. When a higher level (clan tier, size, influence?) lord join or that army is bigger, they take over command of your siege. But the glitch is, that they will never attack, unless you leave and go back in. No idea, what newer beta version got rid of that.

You should give your followers horses if you havent already. Speeds up the army and i believe it also increases carry capacity

a nice tip:
raiding an enemy village increases their war exaustion score by 3, so when you are in a situation where both sides are about to hit 100 you can go and quickly raid one of their villages to end the war on our terms :D
also make sure to take a hostile action before raiding that village cuz that fills the raiding bar by like 80% and also relation loss with the villagers will be less than a normal full raid.
it may look cheesy to some but its a nice cheeky tactic imo
when in peace time you should ues a two handed weapon as you give 5 ex to your troops with every two-handed kill.

Little advice, if I may... Bandit prisioners worth more sold as gang new members or slaves in mines, salt mines and wood producers.
They are worst posible recruits. Bare it in mind.
The bandit unit you captured during the escort mission has its maximum level to tier 3 only, so it will be better you follow the caravan into each city and sell those caravan horse bandit units after each fight. All other bandit units are good one after you reach the leadership 150 and then you can turned those into higher tier regular units, such as forest bandit - > battanian champion.
Best tip for fighting AI always blocks when you aim so I am right next to them until you swing then aim through them from left to right or right to left
watching quests is way better than watching battle after battle and tournaments more quests the more favor from allies and free castles and stuff you win votes
Hurt a little bit to see you give the 8k sword to your troops for experience. Ahhhhh
Why does Apollo always forget how the spy quest works in EVERY playthrough that he does? I don't think he's completed a single spy quest he's ever tried, lol.
Hire mercenary in the town where you sell prisoners and put them in the garrison. They are cheap and easy to get

Apollo when you just put your whole army into the city and recrut with some cav at the nearby villages zo build up the army(: you can max out the city that way and always have some in the back if you need them. make sure to always kill the looters to give them some expierience
As the loyalty goews lower, the pace of decrease will become less and less and it will be zero in some point. You will not need to stop building for loyalty
The troop ones are always kind of annoying so you may want to go and focus on it only and take a bunch of recruits and wood runner and drop the rest of your guys in a garrison to hold them over until you finish the quest. Also look if theres quests in villages cause those guys are more important than the ones in cities(the troops in villages are typically higher tier) and also you can pick up quests with lords that are travelling around you don't got to do it in a settlement

Just recruit basic troops, kill a bunch of looters, give your troops the gear, level up some skirmishers and you'll have no problem getting 17.

I’m pretty sure the not attacking in the siege thing is a glitch, it’s happened a couple times to me recently. If you leave the siege and rejoin just like you did it’ll fix itself.

I think you should put 2 or 3 tier troops
that way the low level recruits don't take money off your income and the higher level troops can stay in your army

The siege control get stolen by other army is a bug that has been reported for a while and I don't know when TW will fix that. Maybe the never will. Also recommand using improved garrison mod, make it much easy to auto recruite/upgrade troop to defend your garrison

Just thought I should comment saying that you can't waste any time playing with your new fiefs or building your army if it can wait, because the war with the Vlandians can't. When you've lost the wars with them in the past, every clan in Battania has had to empty their pockets to pay for it, and the king's clan has lost all it's influence. If you use your opportunity to PUSH the vlandians back and get the war score to 100, they will have to pay all the Battanian clans 3500 influence and around 1 mil gold. This will cripple the vlandians and halt their expansion over time.
So when you have an opportunity to just keep steamrolling them, don't stop to mess around with fiefs or your clan, or else you will miss out on an opportunity to strengthen Battania and utterly devestate Vlandia through war exhaustion.

Yeah that’s a bug, if an army joins your siege you lose control of the siege.
Why don’t you recruit volunteers and level them up, fight some looters or something. For the quest

I started a siege my siege engine knocked down two walls and wouldn't let them build any defense. It wouldn't let me attack and the AI wouldn't attack.

Just a doubt that occurred to me about the challenge and if someone explain to me I I’ll be thankful: every 1 k likes add one hour to the video or every 1 k makes it one hour long? Because the episodes were already about an hour, around 50 minutes, so 1 k likes would only add like 10 minutes. On the other hand, if 1k = + 1 hour, the episode would be 1h50m longer. Which of the 2 options is it?
Its going to be a 1 hour long video for every 1k likes, he announced the challenge while he was still recording his shorter videos, and the upload schedule didn't match when he posed the challenge. So this is the first real video that's 2hrs long because he got 2k likes on his previous video
