i really enjoy the class! it’s a lot of reading scientific literature and exploring what exactly the mind is, and what processes the mind undergoes to give rise to certain psychological phenomena. right now, a typical week of class would look something like this: watching lecture over the weekend, reading the assigned papers from sunday to tuesday, writing the weekly paper (very short! only a few hundred words) on tuesday, replying to classmate papers on wednesday, and discussing the material with our section on thursdays! every section’s schedule is a bit different since we all have different profs, but this is generally how the class operates! hope this helps, and welcome to uchicago!!! :)
