We may have lost a scenario but we WON THE CAMPAIGN. :) This is a fantastic campaign expansion and if you have the core game then yes this is a must buy it is that good.

I fell in love with this game in December and have almost 30 games logged. Never watched an ounce of the show nor had the toys, but this game is so good it actually made me go dive into the universe. Honestly it's been really fun. A friend and I have been playing through all the content, we're starting the last mission of Coldsnap this Friday. Great game. My local convention this summer is having a GI Joe themed event so maybe I'll get some stuff signed for this game.

I love that I'm not the only one bitter for not getting the USS Flagg as a kid. We were robbed!

It’s always so close! But yeah I found myself really agonizing over nearly every mission pros vs cons should I do an officer of side mission who’s going to go after what group or side msn. So good! I started the campaign with two Joe decks then by episode 2 I upgraded to three Joe decks (I play solo).

I must get this now. I have the other expansions (except the Transformers one) and love this game. I agree; such a great deck builder. I think they already announced another expansion, so loving that they continue to add to it.
Yeah, this game is amazing. I love that they're fully supporting it. The Transformers expansion was probably my least favorite, but even then I really enjoyed it. This one is the best expansion IMHO.
I don't think HASBRO is going to let them. HASBRO may be desperate but they're not *THAT* desperate as it turns out.

I also didn't get the GI Joe Aircraft Carrier as a kid, despite my pleading. Instead, I got a 1,000 piece plastic model kit of an aircraft carrier. I'm still upset about it.
A pain I know only too well.
It's a very different thing. You see it as the greatest toy every made. Your parents see it for what it is. A 7x3 unintended coffee table that if you DO want to move it requires three separate trips and a small cub scout troop. It's the most expensive and massive vehicle ever made for toys - THAT NEVER MOVES! xD The loud speaker WAS fun though. Funny how SO many of our neighborhood wars were at Sea after that! The real price of the FLAGG *isn't* money though. Mere money would never cause a parent to defy logic like THAT! No. No it requires that you quest for several separate components. 1. Sea Cadets Membership 2. Holding a 3.5 or higher for more than one semester 3. Having a paper route and 4. Pre-possesion of the Arrow of Light artifact. :D

it finally arrived on thursday, i played one mission from basic box and then i delved into raise the flagg campaign, and first mission is muuuuch harder than basic one :)
so far it's better than i was afraid it might be, since mission resolution is dice roll which i rarely like but in here it works. Unless you roll 8 dice and got 1 hit ..... ;)

@@kurunirek Thank you. There is a pretty heavy element of luck here (as there is in all deck builders), but this game (and expansion) tell such great stories.

Granted, the rulebook isn't great. But the game overall is amazing.
