Thank you for the past playthroughs and for this expansion.
GOOD deck-building games are my jam and I’m always on the lookout.
Because knowing is half the battle.
I'm pretty sure "Destroy" means remove from game, not discard. So that cassette that landed in your hanger bay is a big deal if you favor a certain vehicle.
Thank you so much for posting this. I was starting to feel like the world was gaslighting me that this particular expansion existed. I'd been waiting for quite some time for someone to post a playthrough video, which exist for pretty much every other GI Joe DBG expansion, but this one has been ignored for some reason. I eventually bought the game myself, but all the extra rules and complications meant I still wanted to verify that I was playing correctly by watching other people's games.
I likely got some stuff wrong, it’s so much. But I think it’s mostly right :)
Great to see this expansion played.
One big rule error (I think) is that at the start of each turn, not round, you have to draw a Story mission, if there isn't one out already.
It makes the true solo mode excessively difficult, as you almost always have a story mission on the table and any ongoing negative effects are triggering more often.
You are correct! Thought I got away with a relatively clean play through. Oh well.
I don’t think it’s that bad though. Many bad story effects specify end of round. It’s also not bad to save beating the story til on the second solo turn, especially with the reserve power. I’ll try it and see if it makes a huge difference
Yeah. I figure you would just have higher in threat by the end. Closer to red than green. But you played great so I'm pretty sure you would have won regardless.
I really prefer playing this 2 handed solo, over the true solo.
I wish they would make an alternate card to play alongside service rifle for when you only have 2 recruit pts
Long overdue IMO.
Hey, nice video, you could add it to BGG !
Done. Thanks for reminding me!
