States are not people in any way shape or form. Countries are incapable of getting along in the same way that toasters are incapable of feeling love. Political science 101: It is misleading to personify institution. What you are saying you want is greater political cooperation between two completely different kinds of states. Democracies mesh well with each other because they have similar institutional structures. However, the strain on relations between the US and Russia is largely the due to the incompatibility of the two states political structures. So if you'd like to see greater cooperation, either Russia has to adopt more democratic values (unlikely) or the United States has to sacrifice some of its values. None of this even takes into account the geopolitical arena Russia is currently in with regards to Ukraine and Syria. And no matter what they say neither one of these candidates can effect the political incompatibility of these very states.
TMZbluesoldier23 I don't quite agree with you. How is that possible that USA can get along well with Saudi Arabia without sacrificing it's democracy, but not with Russia. In fact I think in Russia we do have more democracy than in Saudi Arabia. So if you think kore about it you will see it is absolutely not about democracy. Clinton just keeps silent about Saudi Arabia democracy, even knowing that 9/11 was sponsored by Saudi Arabia. And if you happen to think why 9/11 happened - that is because the USA bombed their houses in the middle east not vice versa, that is why they came after you. And I do feel sorry about all those lives in the middle east and in the US, but I think with that outer policy USA has, there will be no peace in anyone's houses

2. Attempted to overturn the 2020 election. Lied about it being rigged.
3. Admitted to Bob Woodward about downplaying COVID.
4. Senate Committee admitted that Russia interfered in the 2016 election to benefit Trump.
5. Interfered in the Georgia election. Busted on recorded phone call.
This list can easily continue but the most egregious thing Trump did is to divide the country so much so that two people cannot agree on a basic set of facts.
I find it so ironic that everyone was so worried about Donald Trump's temper, yet he has been the most peaceful President we have had in 60 years.

well, I've watched the Three Debates to improve my English.. it's really helpful.. hahaha
IDK about you, but Trump won this one, I think even better than he won the last one. Hillary looked so fearful the entire time, she couldn't even put on that fake smile albeit a couple times. Trump may have his temperment issues here and there, but he still won in just about every other aspect. And frankly, a tough temperment is what we need in a president during these times. It is our only hope.
Trump seemed more confident, in control and decisive, but Hilary was the one that was actually right on the whole Russian incursions and dirty business. But for the average ignorant voter, it doesn matter who’s right. What actually matters is who “seems to be right”.

Trump debates are legendary, but he’s also genuinely one of our greatest presidents every when it comes to the policy and the GOOD that he’s done
His reign of terror was an unmitigated disaster for America. People often talk about GDP growth under his tenure but he was only continuing a trend started under Obama, and growth underperformed compared to expectations. He completely misjudged the Coronavirus pandemic and failed to act when he had the chance multiple times. People often excuse this by saying nobody could've seen such an event happening and it's true that many countries were slow to react. This doesn't excuse it, and especially the level of nonchalance he had about the whole thing. Publicly advising people to inject themselves with bleach is probably the single worst thing an American president has ever said and defies belief that anybody could be so stupid.
Besides the Coronavirus disaster in which his inaction needlessly killed hundreds of thousands more Americans than otherwise, he completely screwed his foreign policy and gave the upper hand to China in Asia. By starting a trade war he couldn't win he harmed American businesses and strengthened Chinese ones. China easily circumvented tariffs by assembling 99% of a taxed product in China and then completing final assembly abroad (America does this in Mexico with their cars for tax purposes). This meant China was suddenly investing and creating jobs in traditional American allies and Chinese enemies like Malaysia and Vietnam. He did absolutely nothing with Korea other than endlessly heap praise upon one of the worst dictators in history. He effectively gave Putin free reign in Russian adventures abroad which culminated in the US being forced to strike Russian targets in Syria after a chemical weapons attack, exactly the kind of incident that has been avoided for decades at this point.
On the domestic front he inflamed racial tensions and allowed actual fascists to run amok. He entirely mishandled the BLM protests. Whichever way you view that issue, Trump did exactly the opposite of what would've benefited everybody. He poked the tiger and the results were devastating for thousands of businesses and thousands of people injured in riots and by police brutality (by this I mean deliberately maiming protests to intimidate them and pepper-spraying journalists just for the hell of it).
Objectively terrible president that scholars will rank among the worst for centuries to come. Even Andrew Jackson, with his casual genocidal tendencies and swearing parrot, wasn't as bad as Trump, at least he could actually, you know, run a country.
