I just found out I have lung cancer and it has already metastasized. I cried for ages at the thought of wearing a turban, to me they just scream "cancer, no hair," and I hate them. When I saw your bangs on a headband and the HUGE difference they made, it cheered me up no end. People will just think I'm wearing a turban for fun, and that will make a big difference to me. Over the past few days I have spent hour upon hour watching videos on your channel, and your knowledge of your product and understanding of chemotherapy and how it makes you feel is so reassuring. I can't decide which wig to get, but I'll be at least starting with one, and hopefully getting a few more after that. I have been worrying everyone will be staring at me and thinking that I'm wearing a wig, but yours are so realistic I would never know you had them on. Thank you so much for this. I have a long scary journey ahead of me, and I'm grateful that I know I can at least look good during it.
Dear Wendy, I'm so happy you found us and our Bangs on a Headband. You're right, it will be a game changer for you as it is for so many others. I hope you will consider joining our private group "Godivas Secret Wig Community" - the love and support that is unlike any other group! Other members, as well as Dani and myself are there to make suggestions and be hair to help however possible. And, you'll connect with others in your situation or members who are beyond and conquered their challenges. All the best to you - hugs too! xoox Ro
THANK YOU!❤I start chemo in 11 days, and your positive attitude and enthusiasm were so reassuring. You were of service to me and, I'm sure, so many others.
Dear Paws, thank you so much for sharing with us. I am sitting here sending you love and lots of hugs - our attitudes are the filters of our fiber - like a pond in the lake - our attitudes set the ripple through everything...at least I believe so! Stay positive and don't waste your precious energy on emotions - stay the course. xoxoxo Ro
I am a 16 year survivor of breast cancer. I did not have chemo. I chose to have a mastectomy instead to make sure it was gone. However I tried to have reconstruction and it failed and became so infected I almost died. In hospital for over 5 weeks on every possible antibiotic. Now have one boob and massive scars on the other side. But I am alive! Yeah.
Dear Susan, wow - your story shows that you found the strength and courage to live on your terms. Who cares about a boob when you can live. I agree and send you love and lot of hugs - I am proud of you!!! xoxo I will remember you when I need extra strength and guts. xo Ro
