I used to play volleyball, for like, 5 or 6 years, and this, THIS, is so so so good! It's the best sports anime in my opinion. I was hesitant to watch BECAUSE I used to play volleyball, but I was really surprised by the animation. And it really focus on the sport and team play. The story is really good. I recommend it 👌 Edit: and like, it's really good too for people who know nothing about volleyball, they explain a lot of technical things in a easy way for everyone to understand, u just need to pay a little more attention to everything and you'll probably even start watching real games too.

This anime is soooo good. It's more than just a winning or loosing story, you'll learn to love everyone, they'll play with your feelings so much and they're so passionate about what they're doing. It's just so inspiring as a person, it gives you so much hapiness. You want to be as passionate as them. The orange little guy is Hinata Shoyo and he's my sunshine ! l love them all so freaking much : every team is jkcujs ! In case you didn't realize, i love it ! 🤣😍
Yes all of the openings are so good, it's hard to choose a favorite! But I will say, the ones I listen to most often are I'm a Believer, Hikari Are, and Phoenix (and Imagination, ughh they really are all too good) I'll also say, these openings are how I got into the band, Burnout Syndromes, which is now my all time favorite band! Haikyuu is also both my favorite anime and manga, so it's full of favorites for me lol
the team mascot is a black crow thats why crows appears so much on the openings it also represents the play style of the protagonists, attack together like a murder of crows to overwhelm the opponent also a fun fact is that their rival school team mascot is a cat so when both teams play against each other they call it "the dumpster fight" because in japan crows and cats are mortal enemies that always fight each other over food on trash cans

Haikyuu!! is my favortie sports anime of all time. It's just the characters man and also the straight forward nature of "this is a sport, there are no villains". It's great.
if you like Hype, simply This is One of the Best, and the best "sports" Anything ive seen (besides messi da goat) and all the usuall talking/boring bots for me. and Funny as hell and super realistic too, the conversations in the show are some of the most realistic to my school experiance that ive seen.

Haikyuu as of now is the best sports anime. I never been through so many emotions with an anime. It's so good I watch other people fall in love with the show over and over. They teach you everything about volleyball.
@@TimothyGod don't really know what is good with blue lock they're a bunch of strikers without proper position, and right now most enemy team have 2 or 3 real character the other just an extra to make a team. what worse is a program to improve the player but just a self teaching and if you didn't pass you cant join a national team.
@@TimothyGod Blue lock is doing well with all the action and animations but the emotional substance isn't there yet. Ao Ashi was slow moving but the writers got me interested and invested in the main character. As of now Blue Lock hasn't surpass Ao Ashi and Giant Killer. It's still too early.
Good sports anime get you interested no matter whether you already know and love the sport or haven't paid any attention to it at all in the past. I don't even normally watch sports but I probably have seen sports anime for at least 30 different sports. There are good and bad anime, and the longer anime take some concentration trying to keep all the different teams and competitors straight, but usually the themes are valid even outside of sports (music-themed anime are very similar in that respect). Haikyuu! is one of the best sports anime in recent years and if you like sports anime at all, you'll probably like this one. And if you like a particular sport (no matter how obscure), just say so, and someone is to bound to recommend an anime related to it (although I can't promise they are equally good anime).
My favs are definitely by Burnout Syndrome; Fly High and Hikari Are. His vocals man..is so enchanting 😍😆Btw please react to World Trigger openings. They are so good! 👍
Haikyuu is super good, even if u don't know much about volleyball, well 95% of us also didn't know about it infact most of us fell in love with volleyball cuz of this anime. The intensity u'll get through matches will be crazy. So yeah I don't see any problem. So definitely would recommend watching this anime
Some anime get your attention for their outstanding powers, animation, music but in my oppinion Haikyuu's forte is the storytelling, I don't mean that it doesn't have good music and animation, but the storytelling keeps you hooked.
It not called "HypeKyuu" for a reason. So, if you like hype this certainly full of hype and plenty of character development. This a very character drive anime that is centered around Volleyball. If you are interested in other sports anime you should check out Ace of Diamonds (Baseball) and Aoi Ashi (Soccer). Both are more "slow burn" with great character development and a few hype moments.
Definitely in the top 5 of the best sports series. 🏐🔥 Each team has its mascot or knows it by some distinctive, the main team is called Karasuno Karasu = Crow My favs #3 #4 and #5
Haikyuu is one of the best sports anime airing rn. It's definitely the Gate way drug into sports anime 😭. You honestly don't have to know much about volleyball to watch it bc the anime literally teaches you how to play 💀. Haikyuu way better than BL, or maybe they’re just too different. I’ve been struggling watching blue lock cuz it’s just too… egocentric, idk. It does not give me the same cool and positive vibe that haikyuu does.

This show is dramatic as hell. One of my absolute favorites, it's definitely worth your time.
