- Contradicting views are coming from the Regional Democratic Alliance (RDA) camp in Meghalaya, with the United Democratic Party (UDP) leader and cabinet minister Paul Lyngdoh informing media that the Hill State People’s Democratic Party (HSPDP) has decided to severe ties with the regional alliance.
However, HSPDP President KP Pangniang denied the report stating that the RDA will hold a meeting soon to discuss all such issues. The RDA Chairperson and UDP President Metbah Lyngdoh, however, refrained from making any statement amidst this controversy.
