To me it’s not even close that generation was easily the most played game consoles by me and my friends, the only other time that came close to me was the 360 especially when gears of war came out.
7:15 yup, Wind Waker was great! Having a strong art style can really help a game not look overly dated in the future. I would be very happy if a game today had very similar art and graphics as WW did.
Never had neither the gamecube nor the playstation 2, and I'm discovering these systems as of late and they are fantastic! I remember playing the punisher on the Xbox and it was almost as brutal as manhunt but I really enjoyed it
These long form videos are definitely my favorite of yours. I've only finished about half of it so far, but I was curious is you've ever heard of/played Future Tactics: The Uprising? I know it was on GameCube and PS2, not sure about Xbox.
@slipintoshadowsasmr479 It's honestly one of my favorite PS2 titles, the soundtrack and artstyle is great, the gameplay is fun and challenging, and the story is interesting. If you ever see a copy in the wild I'd recommend it.
Love this era of gaming! My Mt. Rushmore from this era would be: Mario Sunshine, great OST and unique storyline. Crash Bandicoot Tag Team Racing, great game for friends. Star Wars Battlefront 2, the Heroes vs. Villains was so fun.
You can just buy a disk drive add on for your laptop instead of buying an entire pc set up just for those games, plus also any old computer with the drive built in is most likely going to struggle playing those games. Pretty sure they make some easy simple plug in ones
I'll have to look into some and see if I can find a cheap add on disc drive. If I got an old laptop it would probably be around 2007-2009 to play games from the Xbox era
Easily my favorite console generation! Great memories!
What a generation it was! So many classic games

Hour long video, you've blessed me with an early Christmas gift bro!
Merry Christmas! An early asmr gift

Such a great game! That would be awesome if Nintendo put out any type of game with that art style again
Fantastic games, and Fantastic video! The last generation when the full game was still on the disc!
Thank you! You're right! Last era before the dlc bs!
I can't wait for the next roleplay ! I miss those.
Love from France 🎉
Should have another one up pretty soon! Love back from the US!
GC Luigi's Mansion is still one of my favorite games to this day. I actively follow the speedrunning community of it!
Nice! It's a real good game! What is the fastest time someone has completed it?
PS2 will always have my heart 🙌
Def Jam: FFNY
The Warriors
GTA San Andreas
State of Emergency
Twisted Metal
Duke Nukem
Those are probably my favorites
Nice! I forgot about the warriors! That was a great game
Never had neither the gamecube nor the playstation 2, and I'm discovering these systems as of late and they are fantastic! I remember playing the punisher on the Xbox and it was almost as brutal as manhunt but I really enjoyed it
Always fun getting into older consoles for the first time! I never played the punisher but i do remember reviewers saying it was pretty brutal
Reservoir Dogs for PS2 and Xbox is a great game. Very brutal.
I forgot they made a game based on reservoir dogs! I'll have to see how much that one is selling for
RE2 my favorite game of all time.
Nice! Can't go wrong with re 2!

Glad you enjoy these longer vids! I was looking at future tactics when I was looking at strategy rpgs, but didn't end up getting it

Feels like the late 90s and early 00s gaming era was akin to the 80s golden era of music.
I can kinda see that comparison!
Goat
Thank you!

It was an amazing era for sure! Some real good games there!
Dreamcast was the best system and had the most potential.
Can’t forget Power Stone.
Dreamcast was a powerful little console shame the ps2 pretty much buried it
Hell yeah
What an era for video games!
Was away for a couple of months on tour but now back catching up on your vids. Did you end up moving out of New York?
We sure did! We are in North carolina now!
