this is an excellent vid. an accurate b&w film of that period, no phoney colorization, just a slight speed manipulation. you can tell by the actions of some of the people ,movie cameras were a novelty at that time. the guy with the missing leg was possibly a vet of the civil war or Spanish American conflict . plenty of people hoofing it then, and negros were obviously integrated. was it better then? well , 80% of what we take for granted today wasn't available . nonetheless, thanks for the presention, A++!
just live your life to the fullest now. Maybe you'll appreciate the life today, when you look back in the far future after everything are changed again. :)
if you were born in that generation you would be drafted into ww1 and ww2 you really think you'd enjoy that? you may find the aesthetic of the early 20th century appealing but you wouldn't like the conditions you'd be faced with
