Under the Southern Cross has Captain Thomas Cochrane in it. Russell Crowe’s character in the movie Master and Commander was based on Thomas Cochrane for those that would like to sail the seas with that legendary Captain.
Looks like the sort of game you could have horrendous luck with, play badly, struggle and ultimately lose but still have a really good time. First board game I've really liked the look of in a while.
I tried, but just couldn’t get into the Flying Colors series. This volume looks pretty detailed. Own all the games, maybe I should give them another look?

The main scenarios are Fleet size actions with multiple ships side. The Duels are single ship v ship combats and use the different map and the cards.
Thanks for taking the time to make this video,
All the best!
Flying Colors is a great series. The main volume, Flying Colors Deluxe, is awesome value and includes Trafalgar!

Seems nice! Thank you for the unboxing!
Not generally enamored of tactic naval games but this one intrigues me for the S America history of which I know practically nothing.

Do you sleeve your cards?
