Jogging day with a rottweiler. 1st attempt to jog with her, and it went pretty well.

Today was the 1st time Rio and I attempted to jog together. We planned to have our normal daily walk and play when out of the blue in our play session( while taking her on walks, I include plays to make it more stimulant and interesting for both of us), we found ourselves running and that's how we discovered that we can run side by side even though she needs more training on that but we'll go slowly and take our time

A harness would help keep the feet from getting tangled.

The dog wants to be next to you. The "control" you have, is that she doesn't pull the lead.

Go to park or in the field. Slowly build the dog up. Don't let her run on pavement. Better safe than sorry.
