It's very nostalgic seeing the original 3D models, imagine the newer games receiving the same love and care by the team who created the Stadium games.
I tried to tell them. Is not happening.
Still prefer these graphics over the new ones
I think that the animations are what really make me enjoy this game more. New pokemon games feel sort of lifeless in comparison.

@@hephlex4073 The newer games have good animations though. Especially since the models in SV have been completely remade. They have new battle poses too, and even Blastoise shoots water from the pumps on his back now. One thing that bothers me about these animations is how long they go on for at times. I honestly prefer the faster paced battles from the more modern games. And keep in mind, this is coming from someone who grew up with this game you are playing myself.
@@LaprasTrainerLiam98 the new game’s animations are still much worse than these and they’re 20 years old. The idle animations for Pokémon are worse, the animations for them getting hit by moves are worse.
@Oakwin_mb Wow, I ♥️ the lack of elaboration, that's really nice. Also, as someone who's played the modern games, I think they look fine. Especially since I'm someone who prefers the faster paced battles than back then dude. Also, the reason these animations are as polished as they are is because they only had the first 3 Generations of Pokemon to worry about models wise. Also, the models in Scarlet & Violet look amazing, F off.

My internet boomer brain sometimes sees Pokémon XD and thinks it’s someone laughing at Pokémon with an emoticon, but then I immediately remember the title and the fun my brother and I had with this game and Colosseum. Those days really flew by.
When I first got the game as a kid the XD wasnt a smiley to me, I thought it was the coolest acronym ever lol. And it didn't even feel like a Pokemon game when I first played, just felt so different.

Yes all pokes were caught during a casual playthrough, I picked the ones with the best natures + stats spreads and EV trained them (took quite a long time). I wish I had kept endure for Primeape and used possibly Exeggutor over Mr Mime, could've possibly made an even better team
seriously that is so impressive, especially including the fact that you didn't self-destruct with snorlax (first in-game team that I've seen to not do so). great job mate@@hephlex4073
@@nx7249 Thank you! I was kinda forced to not use Self Destruct since I had used the move tutor already, but I honestly was fine with trying a physical set snorlax as well. Made it a lot more fun.

Yes! Tauros kinda looks like a ram and Stafford joined the Rams and all. Go Pack Go btw ;) it's gonna be a fun year in the NFCN next year.

Are your mons EV trained?
Yes I EV trained the mons to be at specific stats and they all also have pretty good natures. I show their exact stats in the first video of this playlist.

What's the difference between this game and Colosseum on Gamecube?
@@jakebastian6726 Y'know I was thinking you were joking but wasn't sure lol. XD has a lot more obtainable pokemon, and has many more "shadow" moves. It also has the purify chamber to help purify shadows much quicker than Colosseum. Other than that the gameplay is mostly the same, both games have different areas and I think XD actually has almost double the traversable areas. I personally like XD more but Colo with it's limited pokemon selection is definitely a fun challenge.
