Yo, every time I see Anthony in an interview (esp the long ones where he got time for mad tangents) I be like, “yo this my favorite interview of him to date”.....until the next one come. 😂 But for real, this was so good. I literally screamed when he talked about how the only thing the Europeans (Spaniards) let the African and Taínos keep were their drums/percussive instruments and how that blend morphed into this explosion of Latin musical culture even in spite of colonialism. AYOOOOOOOO. Shit was fire. We need more interviews talkin about this. He’s right that Hollywood isn’t tryna hear about how wide and varied the diaspora is (like, mainstream media will have you thinking that Amara la Negra is an anomaly when she’s not...there are SO many latines who are her complexion and even darker). People aren’t learning in school that most of the Africans in the slave trade went to South America...not to what we know now as the US...I know I didn’t know that until I was older. Anyway! This was amazing and I hope he’s invited back whenever he finishes his million and one next projects. Lol. Love from Philly.
You have said a WORD! There's so much we don't know as it's not taught to us! The African Diaspora was impacted EVERYWHERE and NOT just from the slave trade. Why do I know more about indentured servitude of Europeans than I know about the African Slave trade???

When I watched Hamilton I knew I had seen him before but couldn't place him. 🤦🏿♀️She's gotta have it!!! 🤦🏿♀️ Wooooww!! That's a sign of a great actor! I love Transformers and he is definitely a no-brainer for that franchise! I can't wait!!
I did the same thing - yoga/basic weights and more plant based eating and meditating - and doingit solo in a pandemic. I'm not shaming anyone for not doing anything- I'm glad that I chose to use the time to up my game physically emotionally and spiritually.

Doors stay closed only b/c they are the wrong one's and you're supposed to be PRODUCING and also bringing other talented singers forth as well as your own very beautiful voice.
It isn't possible for me to tire of this man...from the way he loves and honors his fiancé to his immeasurable multifaceted scope of talent. He has an insane acting range, his songs resonate with my spirit, he has amazing work ethic, tremendous humility, he's super relatable and he's from Brooklyn. I haven't been this fascinated with a celeb since high school lmaooo. He is everything!
I get so happy seeing Mars makin’ moves and getting the bag 😂😂. Like I’m genuinely I’m happy for him. On a sidenote : Angela needs a better quality camera and a ringlight. Like the breakfast club has more money than most youtubers (bare minimum is a ring light ) and it’s been more than a year with the pandemic. Anyways , all love .
