motorik strumming gives me radiohead vibes a little bit, like hail to the thief kinda sound. is there some sort of tremolo effect happening over the spoon? or is it just generating that sound itself? always wondered that haha. sounding great man! \m/
Agreed, my friend! I feel like it started somewhere in Autobahn and in this session morphed into some kind of radiohead/duran duran ordinary world hybrid! XD What other riffs are stuck in my head?!? As to the spoon, the first answer is that there is a second pickup under the pickguard of the Esquire in the neck position. When I wave the steel spoon over that pickup, it interrupts the signal from the strings. It is kind of related to a LFO low frequency oscillator. The second piece of the puzzle is that you need an amplifier that will accept those sub sonic frequencies ! XD In other news, I am beginning work on the track this week! I am hopeful I can add something useful to it!

Never heard Sheep Graze on the 9 string before. The octave strings sound great with everything! What's your favorite guitar for that tune?
